I’ve just finished a solo road trip around the country- going from Milwaukee, down to Atlanta, across to Las Vegas, and back to Milwaukee. I've stayed at a few value Motel 6’s, Red Roof Inns, among others along the way, and can confidently say the Thunderbird Lodge was the best bang for the buck across the entire trip, by far. The service was kind and considerate, the room was clean with a blow dryer, ironing board, luggage rack, soap and shampoo, they had a working hot tub in the common lobby area, and the king bed was comfortable. The only slight complaint I have is that footsteps from other guests are easily heard from inside the room, but that is common among most hotels at this price point I’ve stayed at. Similarly, no breakfast is served, but with a McDonald’s down the street this is easily remedied. Will be staying here again the next time I’m in Mitchell!

Our queen bed was very comfortable. Room was generally clean, buu old fixtures and carpet look reaady to be replaced.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights. The price was right. This is what I was expecting the price. If your wanting a five star place for a three star price don’t stay here.
