The office was pretty cool

The restroom smells like cigarettes and the room smells like public restrooms, the towels fells like unwashed with dust and marks on it, everything looks broken with drawing on the cabinets and the blanket is only a pice of cloth and the ac/heater does not wok.

Nasty bathroom, smells horrible, a lot of noise at night , a lot of Mosquitos,she charges me 10 dollars cash for the key, was really really bad , we didn’t feel safe

Avoid at all costs!

On the positive side of things, we didn't encounter any roaches or bed bugs like mentioned in the other reviews. However, that should be more of a prerequesite than a positive aspect if you ask me. While the pillows again were absolutely filthy and had stains all over them, the sheets seemed to be alright to sleep in.

The personnel on the front desk wasn't the most communicative. I didn't really mind that though. The room however was far below expectations. I realize that your expectations can't be high booking one of the cheapest motels in LA. But having grafitis all over the wall and furniture (see pictures) is simply not acceptable. Furthermore, the room obvisiouly wasn't cleaned thoroughly before our stay (old soap bar in shower, chips and gummies on the ground). The carpet was absolutely filthy and had stains and burn holes all over. Last, don't visit with children if you don't want them to see a freely accessible porn channel when turning on the TV.

King Lodge Motel Staff Are Great But Kind Of Too Loud

I did like how the staff were understanding and accommodating.

I did not like when the cleaning crew were cleaning were kind of too loud. It feel at times that my bed was shaking too much that you can not sleep. Also cars would come at round 10 pm to late early morning and they would have their engine on that was was loud. also the traffic that runs on the street is too strong that would make the beds to shake and the television would have too much static. The air conditioner in some room were not updated. Not sure why under the sink in the second floor there was an open section that you can heard the first floor noise. Also some doors needs wheaterstrip because the air and noise would go inside the room. The staff are great.

Its run down and a total dive, its beat up and ugly . Very overpriced for what it is. Paid 120 and would have done better at a cheap dive hotel. This place is gross.

Didnt sleep with the noise of people walking about and thanking outside..didnt feel safe..

Window had a big crack In it..the dead bolt didnt have the other plate in the frame..needed the frame around door to be fixed so the lite didnt come through the cracks...old and run down...people hanging in parking lot..
