Views were great, pickleball, access to beach, roomy condos
Some staff weren’t very friendly at restaurant
9.0 / 10.0
The staff was amazing. Super friendly. Lots to do and were very family friendly.
Parking was tight, was sometimes hard to find a spot, especially anytime after 7pm. Room could have been a little bit cleaner (behind/under the bed and against walls), but overall we loved our stay.

The location is top notch
No drink service at the pool and inability to purchase drinks at the restaurant bar “to-go” so we went to the 1 Hotel and spent money there instead 😅
5.0 / 10.0
The rooms were spacious and it was great to have 2 full bathrooms. The bed in master bedroom was very comfortable. The sofa bed is OK for kids but not very comfortable for adults. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. The restaurant on site had a great vibe in the evenings for dinner or drinks. The larger pool on the property was good and staff on property were friendly. The property had lush green surroundings which was beautiful but also led to some challenges as noted below.
The following issues led to us not enjoying the property as much as we had hoped to.
Our room was on the lower level (need to take 3 flights of stairs down to the lower level rooms); one of the bathrooms had a very strong smell of bleach when we arrived, the next day we understood why—it was likely to cover up the smell of sewage in the master bathroom. Given the lush greenery outside there were mosquitoes at night and no spray or electric shock bat available in the rooms. While we appreciated the starter set of toiletries provided, it was not sufficient and wasn’t promptly stocked upon request. The gym was very small for the resort of this size. No in-unit washer and dryer available.

Our room was very nice. Loved sitting out on deck. Nice swimming pool. Enjoyed the bar in the evening.
We were quite surprised by the $50 check in fee. Also we paid $25 night for parking and 2night when we came back from dinner, we had a hard time finding an open space because the locals are there parking for free.

It’s absolutely GORGEOUS! Such a beautiful view. The pool is amazing especially at night with the tiki torches!
Nothing really- everything was great! The only thing that was a little inconvenient was having to get a ride up the hill to parking because it’s so steep, but when you call the staff comes immediately to take you.

Beautiful place, stunning swimming pool.
The restaurant on site serves great pizzas.
Facilities on site are great, pool, hot tub, tennis, pickleball, access to the beach. Activities offered were never timed right with our schedule so we have not experienced that.
Overall it was still a great stay but would have loved a notch higher level.
No Luggage storage until room ready to check in. Having the option to upgrade for a better room at time of check in would be great too if anything else is available.
Cockroach in the bathroom. Was there when we arrived, was the when we left.
We were in 1511, had not exactly a good view being so low but ok. We had to walk through the back of kitchen/trash containers to leave everytime.
Loud upstairs occupant and two cockroaches. That was my 40th birthday, (which I specified during booking, you have loved a little note or attention) I would have loved to get a big better.
Parking can be tricky. We had to drive in circles because there was no spot available, while still paying parking fees. That was a little disappointing
It seems to be mostly timeshares and front desk didn't want to replace our coffee in the room thinking we rented via the owner until they understood we booked via Booking.

The facilities were nice - had access to the beach and a nice pool area
If you are reserving a room through Booking.com, you need to get a clear idea of what unit you are staying in. The Haleconia units are behind the reception and restaurant, on the lowest level of the prpoerty, and essentially across from the trash dumpsters. The least desirable of all buildings/units with views of nothing but overgrown wild vegetation. The difference in staying in these units vs others that would give you a view of Hanalei bay is like night and day. For us on a 40th anniversary trip, it was not a great unit to stay in and gave a bad feel to a resort that otherwise would be nice. So just be aware of this when making reservations. Not worth the price if you stay in Haleconia.

Absolutely beautiful resort with stunning views. Amazing friendly staff. The pools and spas were clean and beautiful to swim in. Will definitely be going back

The location is amazing, kitchen in the room great and useful.
However, we stated multiple times that this stay was for our honeymoon and we expected at minimum a clean room. Instead we got hair on the sheets, lint balls all over them and a very musty moldy smelly room. It wasn’t very cozy or nice to stay inside, and we dreaded coming back to sleep there. Check in was horrible, this particular girl at the desk with chipped nail polish and an awful attitude (we didn’t even get a smile), did not help much. We also didn’t get a text when our room was ready like we were promised. I think this was extremely overpriced.

Location was fantastic
View from the balcony breathtaking
Rooms were spacious
Nice staff
A bit outdated rooms especially the carpet
You have to pay for everything ( laundry etc)
No cleaning even once during a week-long stay

Nice property ruined by them taking money out of my account that I needed for other hotels during my stay, they had the full payment and all the resort fees yet took $527 out of my account 5 days after my stay
Avoid at all costs. Stayed here the 9-11th August payment went out for the whole of our booking 5th August. 5 days after our stay I have been charged $527. Called the hotel they said they would speak with management and get back to me. No one has called me back to sort out refunding me! Avoid staying here if you don’t want to be charged random charges! Causing unnecessary stress during our honeymoon.

The views and locations were beautiful. The pool and beach access were great. The dining options were very good!
This place would be perfect if they had better beds, sofa beds, and consistently nicer staff.

great pool area, tennis courts and access to beach. staff is friendly and responsive.
our room was right next to the valet - very noisy and the lanai has no privacy bc people walking up to the lobby could see us sitting on the lanai. also, the front door to the room is not a full door, it has a opening covered with a screen and blinds, which also contributed to the noise coming from outside into the unit and feeling of lack of privacy. Also, there is very limited parking at night next to our unit - bc the valet uses the same lot for non-hotel guests just coming to the hotel for dinner.

Location was amazing. The beach is a short walk down a steep path but they will drive you to and from in a golf cart which was nice.
The room was something to be desired. The blankets were dirty upon arrival which was pretty frustrating and gross. One of the showers made a horribly loud noise so we all showered in the other bathroom. The bathroom with the working shower had a non working toilet so we used the other. One of the cabinets was literally hanging off the wall and had not been repaired. A fire alarm went off at 4am and no one came till we called the front. They told us they would replace it the next day… they never did. We stayed 9 nights and they do not come clean during that length of stay. It’s pretty shocking since kids are sandy etc. We would have at least liked fresh sheets and fresh towels every so often. When we called for new towels housekeeping did come rather quickly. Last, you are not allowed to purchase drinks and drink by the pool. You have to consume them in the restaurant. We just wanted a mai tai while the kids enjoyed the pool. I’ve never been to a resort that doesn’t allow, or encourage, this. Overall it was a less than desirable experience.

Absolutely loved this property! The view from the room was breathtaking — waking up to cloud-covered mountains and lush green forests was unforgettable. The pizza at the on-site restaurant was fantastic, and the pool was a great place to relax. We also really appreciated the convenient shuttle service to and from the beach.
There are plenty of great dining options within a 10-minute radius. The suite itself was spacious and well-appointed, with one bedroom, a separate living room, a full kitchen, two bathrooms, and two balconies.
Highly recommend — totally worth the price!

Location and setting. Hanelei Bay is the most beautiful beach. Condos are spacious. Grounds are beautiful.
No onsite concierge. They really need this. No gift shop for sundries.
Very limited restaurant choices (pizza joint and casual sports bar w food). Need an upscale restaurant. No breakfast option other than premade muffin type fare at a coffee shop that doesn’t have seating.
Condos are dated.

Best view on the island, nice hot tub. Walk to an amazing beach in minutes. Grounds are gorgeous.
Room was awkwardly arranged, felt a little like dungeon. Pool was too cold to enjoy. Birds were annoying and would peck at us while in the lawn chairs. Parking kinda sucks and you have to walk a lot or get lucky.

We had a lovely suite, tucked away in the far reaches of the resort, but it suited us well.
9.0 / 10.0
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this resort - highlights include relaxing at the pool and watching the sunset down at the beach. The one bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable and the kitchen allowed us to dine in and save on restaurant costs.
Everything lived up to our expectations; our daughter would have liked a volleyball net; but we did practice on the grass field. Additionally, coming from Canada; the cost was on the high side for our budget.

The staff, location and traditional Hawaiian style
The restaurant was fun but food was not great and too expensive
6.0 / 10.0
Location is excellent
1. Quality of food at the bar is poor
2. Wait time for the ride (by cart) to and from the beach sometimes was excessive (25 minutes once)
3. Cabana with pool towels was closed, had to go up to reception to exchange wet for dry ones.
4. There was no room service during our entire stay (6 nights) - which is ok , we did not really need it, but I wish we were told upfront that there will not be room cleaning service.
5. Pool is too shallow (only 3 feet deep)
6. Price is too expensive for the level of service/quality of facilities

fantastic view to Napali Coast mountains and ocean. Large and equipped rooms. Silence. Nice pools, easy pathway to a perfect and secluded beach.
it could have a better option of restaurant on site. Cleaning only came once for an entire week.
