The hotel lobby was beautiful this time of year. The Christmas decorations really made us feel at home. The staff was professional and curteous. We enjoyed making waffles the next morning and we were greeted with a Good Morning and smiles..It really is a nice place to stay. We highly recommend visiting!

Need a better selection of food.. . Had to trsnsfer from 1st floor to 2nd floor at midnite due to room heater not operable. End of hallway. . Daytime staff wasnt to helpful , i was trying to redeem reward points. A cleaning lady had to assist me.

Nothing!!

Everything! When we first got there they charge a $50 fee on top of what you already pay for and then we found bed bugs in the room we stayed in, he denied that's what it was and then denied a full refund. This was the worst experience I've ever had with hotels and booking.com!! It smelled like fresh paint chemicals or mold.

BEST STAY IN EVANSVILLE WHILE ON A BUDGET

The staff was very friendly..Vicky is the Indian guy.. . would always ask me if there was anything i needed and how I was enjoying my stay. Even put the coffee on earlier than breakfast just for me every morning. The rooms and dining area for breakfast are very clean. Breakfast is always early and never late. The location is amazing because EVERYTHING you could want to do or go in Evansville is less than 5 minutes away. The mall is across the road. The price was very good... I will definitely stay here again when j return to Evansville.

To be honest there is nothing I did not like. Very very very good place to stay plus for the price i dont think another hotel in Evansville can compete with this hotel plus the staff is very friendly .

It's no reflection on the hotel, but restaurants in that area leave a lot to be desired. The Bob Evans next door that we usually go to is closed for good. The nearby Denny's had only two people working and Taco Bell had no one taking orders inside, so we left both We wound up paying $30 for two burritos at Chipotle. We won't be going there again,

I booked on booking .com and read through all the hotel policies and when we checked in there was a surprise a NEVER disclosed $50 deposit to be refunded later! Also my brother paid cash and an additional $100 deposit for them to be refunded at check out! This was NEVER disclosed! A negative for sure!

Bad service, dirty, stinky rooms, rude staff to elderly guests who could barely walk.

I made the reservation easily

It was dirty. We had to change rooms. Got in my new room and the tub was dirty with soap residue and hair. Got into bed with a snack but lost my appetite when I had to kill a roach on the side table by the clock. I had asked over a week prior to our reservation to cancel. They refused Booking.com’s request AND my request. There was flooding en route and i wanted to change routes and not go through Evansville, taking undue risks with my elderly parents. But no, it was denied. We never spoke to the manager and staff at the hotel was extremely rude and heartless to elderly guests who just drove 12 hours. Do not stay there!

Pleasant surprise in Evansville

Staff was friendly and courteous. The property is well maintained. The bed was very comfy with lots of pillows. I really appreciated the parking accommodation they provided for my motorcycle. I was able to park it under the balcony near the lobby. There are some shops and restaurants within walking distance.

This hotel is fair for the price. The staff is friendly. The room was clean. The breakfast is your typical continental breakfast but they do offer a few hot items which vary by the day. (Sausage links and eggs 2 days. Biscuits and gravy 1 day) We stayed Friday-Monday.

There are cosmetic issues throughout the building as this is an older building. Some areas of the hotel are in need of a deep cleaning for cosmetic purposes. Some repairs need to be made for cosmetic purposes also.

Hotel is nice. Accommodations after we agreed to give up our reservered Handicap room were not Great

Rooms were big, clean and nice overall.

Room was swapped with us to a Non-Handicapped room after a call from the desk asking us if we really needed the handicap room. Room given to us was far away from the elevator and not cooled at all before our check-in. Outside temp was 101 and the room was very hot. Toilets are very very short.

We have stayed at this property every year for the past 10 years when we visit family

We asked for a joining rooms beyond our children being with us and the toile was broken and they wouldn’t fix it they decided to have us switch rooms and leave our children in that room. When we tried calling the manager he hung up on the staff member after saying he was on vacation

Really pleasant stay! Some odd hitches but not bad

We had a lovely time in our four days here! The front desk were very accommodating with our requests for another blanket and more towels. The King room was lovely with its teal theme. Had a good rest here.

The laminate floor felt strange to the feet, as if it was waxed or sticky. The soap also had a horribly strong smell that lasted all night! Sorry it didn't suit us. We needed my shampoo to get rid of the scent

Convenient Location

The location was close to everything you could need. Very busy street and traffic. Right across from a huge mall. Bob Events right in front of the hotel and walkable.

Breakfast could use improvement. The hot food was cold. Bisquit and gravy was cold, and the biscuits were hard as rock because they had been over the warming burner. You had juice, either an orange/apple, cereal or could make a waffle.

The "king" size suite ended up being a queen size, and our two rooms were literally on opposite ends of the building. We had room 124, alllll the way at the end of one hallway, and room 175, the last room at the other end of the hotel.
