Love it here

Loved the beer chips and salsa, can't forget the late night snack of the pie and ice cream, me and my wife enjoy the sparkling wine everything this was our 2nd time coming if that tells you anything, we forgot a beach blanket and sweater and they shipped it to my home no charge so im also grateful for that.

Can't say I didn't like anything the price is a little high but id say its worth what you pay.

Refreshing, relaxing, and enjoyable❣️

It reminded us of Santa Fe. Beautiful tile work and the mural in the lobby, the room decor follows the Southwest theme. Loved the tile floors with the paw prints on them! Great hospitality from all employees.

It smelled a little too much ch of cleaning products, could be a bit overwhelming.

Breakfast is pathetic Location is average

The air conditioner is simply awful!!! It was made 30 years ago. Without it, the room was terribly stuffy. The window was closed with some kind of stick that was impossible to open, and sleeping on the first floor with the window open was undesirable.

We love the staff, amenities and location!

Our key kept having issues and our fireplace didn't work. We had a few people look at it and couldn't get it to work. That was the only down side. Fireplace would have been nice!

Nice Hotel with Added Touches

This hotel was recommended to me and I'm glad I booked it. It is in a prime location off the main street. Everything was within walking distance. The hotel itself was a change from the average run of the mill hotel. The extras were a nice treat, from the morning croissants to the lunchtime nachos and the dinnertime pie and ice cream. The only drawback for me was the lack of a toilet seat lid, I ended up using a towel as a cover.

I did not like that there was not a toilet lid. I hope in the future something can be done about this.

The location was wonderful. Everything was right there within walking distance the perks for breakfast lunch, and apple pie at night and ice cream was tremendous the staff. They were courteous and friendly.

Charming boutique hotel, great location, superior service

Charming boutique hotel on a quiet street just 2 short blocks to the beach and Front St., the Avila “strip”. Lovely Spanish/Mexican decor throughout with little touches here and there that stay consistent with the decor. Spacious rooms with a full kitchen but with settings for only two. Our room had a balcony, gas fireplace, and a spa bathtub. A/C too. The best part: they feed you all day long, all included. Delish REAL croissants and fruit for breakfast, beer with chips and salsa at noon, wine and small plates at happy hour (enough to skip dinner), and three kinds of pie in the evening from 8:00 to 9:00. Don’t miss the ollalieberry pie, a central coast speciality.

My only minor gotcha is the bed. Queen size only and a little soft.

Great couples stay

Great location - quick walk to beach and restaurants. Fresh croissants in the morning, snacks, and pie at night. Very comfortable beds and linens. Very nice staff.

Coffee machine did not work. Should add a sheer curtain - could not have windows open because pedestrians could see right in. Dogs barking in room next door.

Full kitchen, lots of room, quality snacks, hot tub in bathroom, 2 rooms for all guests to enjoy gathering as it was the middle of a heavy rain and wind storm. Due to concerns about flooding, there were no restaurants open in the town. The complementary evening appetizers, snack baskets, and homemade pie filled in for that. We did have some breaks in the storm to walk on the boardwalk. Beautiful interior!

This day was great. The hotel is absolutely Charmaine, and everybody that works. There is excellent.

Tv and remote we don’t need much, but the ability to not even change the channel is a little ridiculous. Also, the walls are extremely thin. There was a very active couple in the next room. I’m sure you could’ve heard them all the way out in the lobby.
