Proximity to Cedar Sports Center

The trains blaring their horns every hour through the night. The community should pursue a quiet zone bylaw that prohibits trains from blasting their horns at night.

Comfy place to stay right next to the Park!

Everything was perfect! The staff was great as we arrived and gave us all water. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was your average hotel breakfast. It was right next to the amusement park and I am sure the pool would have been great it it wasn't November.

It was very convenient to Cedar Point. Staff were very friendly. We appreciated the free bottle of water upon our late arrival after a long day at the park. Continental breakfast was good.

Great location for visiting Cedar Point

The location was great, about a 5-minute drive to Cedar Point, which was our reason for visiting. The room was spacious and clean, and we liked that the sink and vanity were separate from the toilet and bath, so the two of us could get ready more quickly. Plenty of parking near the rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. I feel we got good value for our money.

Breakfast was a little disappointing (pancakes were rubbery), but I guess as it was included in the price of the room, we couldn't be too picky. The pool was closed, which was fine, but it was dirty and made the whole place feel unkempt since it was the first thing we would see when we walked out of the room.

Location to cedar point is fantastic and from downtown Sandusky!

Pool was closed when we stayed which was a bummer but they do have a little park in the back and are close to a splash pad if you have littles and are staying in mid/late September and it’s still nice out for swimming !

Nice hotel in a good location.

The room was very clean and spacious. Had a nice location overlooking the pool. Hotel was very quiet and had a relaxed atmosphere. Probabaly would stay again when in the area. Keep up the good work!

Kind service and Clean room

The staff was great especially Sam. He was very helpful and kind. Everything was great! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. There was more space in the rooms than in other places in the area, and they were less expensive. Breakfast was provided: hot coffee, bagels, fruit, etc.

Room - The bed was not comfortable. The bathroom was very small. The bedroom floor made my feet smell. Pool- Loved the pool and hot tub but there was a lot of chlorine. Breakfast was nice.

We were greeted so kindly, the pool/hot tub/and slide was perfect to cool off after cedar point (which is was an EXCELLENT distance from the park)

Weekend getaway jackpot

Staff was helpful and friendly. I was helped promptly at check-in. Our room was clean, and the space was ample. We even got new towels each day, which I was not expecting.

The only negative I noticed was that there wasn't a suitcase bench or safe. The closet was large and could easily accommodate both.

Fantastic hotel at a great value

Zil and the entire staff was great. Very friendly and very accommodating including Betty at breakfast. My boys loved the water slides and pool. Breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay here again.

The air condition control was great, really important when it was so hot. The pool was a lot of fun for the kids, and the proximity to Cedar Point was really good.

Horrible way over price and no comfort at all the beds suck and so do the pillows

Pool was the only nice thing they had

Oh where to start? Well the rooms stink and the beds are hard as a rock and the pillows were also hard as a rock no comfort in the beds at all. The room is super small and the price we paid to stay there well it should be way cheaper considering the place and trash rooms. The breakfast sucked all they had was pancakes and cereal. All together with the price and the stay was bad I'll never stay at this place again even if it's free. My neck and back couldn't take another night in that place.

Excellent Experience

Excellent service! Clean rooms. Sai, Sam, and Zil were all wonderful! Close to everything and beautiful pool! We stayed for the week for my son's 15th birthday and we were both happy with everything. Would highly recommend and will stay again when we come back to Cedar Point!

Cedarpoint South Shore Inn

Sam at the front desk was awesome. Very friendly, gave us a couple of bottles of water when we checked in. Super clean. Room was spotless. Beds were really comfortable. Has a outside pool and hot tub that is open late. So after a long day at Cedar Point it was great to relax in.

Wish breakfast had a few more protein options. Bathrooms are small, but the water pressure is great

Very clean. The pool and hot tub were crystal clear. The hot tub was so wonderfully hot! Comfortable beds. Very nice breakfast- pancake maker, yogurt, eggs, oatmeal packets, bananas, toast, bagels. Super close to Cedar Point. This is now our new place to stay when going to Cedar Point. Plenty of parking. Very nice staff.

Nice place to stay when going to cedar point

My kids loved the pool and hot tub. It was very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. They offered us free water bottles upon arrival.

The shower sprayer is very low.

Great for anyone with mobility issues, they moved us to the lower floor! There are a bunch of flowers planted around, a swing set, and multiple picnic benches. Everything was well kept and very cute!
