    good rates for the location on the beach rooms are old and has a certain smell but tolerable breakfast is very basic but ok if you just need coffee overall as you will expect from a days inn

    Our room was clean our bed comfortable and the view was beautiful. We would stay here again. Location is convenient to exploring both North & South attractions and also Mackinac Island.

    This is a tired old motel in dire need of more of a makeover. Interior of room was Clean except for the 1969 air conditioner that leaked condensate water onto the carpet 6 feet in all directions. Hari, night watch desk person , was super nice and moved us to another room for night 2 . 2nd room AC was less than 10 years old and worked. Exterior of hotel needs work: window sills all dirty, dead bugs outside all doors, the railing posts are loose and many are MISSING anchor bolts. Maintenance person should be fired. Pool is not in use at all and is a mess - don’t care as it wasn’t advertised as operational but it is an eyesore. The view to the lake is GREAT. Employees I interacted with were great. Props to Hari.
