Motel 6-Fort Worth, TX - Downtown East

After you get passed the point of the front office, it is amazing. Kind of had a smell in the hallways but what do you expect for the price lol. I did see house keeping cleaning alot upon check out times.& our hotel room was nice & clean upon arrival. A little hot when we arrived but nothing turning on the a.c couldn't fix. By the time we got back from our outdoor trips it was cold & as fresh as we would have liked it. Room also came with a microwave & a cool fridge that left my drinks super cold which i loved!

Upon arrival I checked in & it was a last minute trip so was planning on coming alone but after we booked i had my girlfriend come with me, mind you last minute. Got charged a 20$ fee for having her come with me, mind you the buddy I also came with had a separate room across from me same room size & everything, including a guest that stayed like me & didnt get charged an extra fee. I definitely got ripped off lol, other hotels including motel 6's have never done that to me before, so Definitely a little concerning about how my deposit was gonna be taking care of. Reading most of the reviews about how they tried to charge you with every little thing. They also were not lying about the shower floor being soaked after taking a shower lol, was also concerned about my deposit after seeing that as well. The location like how other people stated was a little concerning lol, definitely dont leave any personal belongings or anything of value in your car. sketchy People like to hang out in the parking lot for some odd reason without being told not to or without security. Upon check out I was beyond nervous & annoyed of the thought of not getting my deposit back just from the stories I've heard on here. Which was me all trip long lol. Went to the counter & the lady which im assuming was the infamous "daisy" I've read all about looked at me with a blank face (couldnt read her) looked annoyed if I might add, & asked simply what room I was in & gave me back my deposit & went into the back room never to be seen again after waiting a minute or so to see if I ever needed anything else lol. Was a half attempt to check me out lol. Other then that, room was lovely & also couldn't connect my ps5 to the wifi which you had to login online which really wasnt no biggie to me, Just a heads up. Wouldn't mind staying there again but only if it was a lastttt resort.

I liked that it was very close to the Panther Pavilion (only about 10 minutes drive!), they allowed early check in for a small fee, the staff was friendly and the room was clean

You can only enter and exit through the front of the building, deposit was cash only and the parking lot was a bit hectic
