Adequate for a short stay, a bit noisy.

The property is located in an area with a lot of other hotels and restaurants. Black Angus is next door. The microwave, fridge, hair dryer and shower all worked properly. The bed was quite firm, which I like. Parking was right by the room.

Room 201 was at the front of the building, and close to a busy street (Waterman) and 2 blocks away from I-10. Therefore, it was noisy. If I were to stay there again, I would ask for a room further north in the complex. The pillows were lumpy, the washcloth did not absorb water (!) but there were packets of shampoo and body lotion, no conditioner. At 6:15 AM, I was awakened by the sound of a lawnmower. Fortunately, my alarm was set for 6:30, so no big deal.

Totally miffed at check in when room was listed as pet friendly, indicated total price, only to be stung at the counter for an additional $30. Beware... they bury the pet charges to make the room cost more attractive. Slimy tactics... I hate ambiguous businesses.

The bed was comfortable and there were no bed bugs. Breakfast was good.

We arrived in the late evening and the atmosphere around the place was shady. It was quite noisy at night, we could hear cars and people from different rooms. There were many bugs in the bathroom and the standard of the room was worse than in the pictures. We expected more for this price. We traveled for 2,5 weeks and this place was the most expensive and the worse among all of them (even though okay for one night).

Location

The bathroom smelt of marijuana. It was worse than a motel 6 for 400$ a night. The people that work there are not nice. Made me sign a bunch of paperwork to stay there like I wouldn't bring glitter
