Location

I’m highly allergic to mold and mildew and I was miserable and didn’t know why till I went to take a shower in the morning. I had already taken my meds and inhaler at that point.

Black mold health concerns

The breakfast was decent

We had black mold in our bathroom, the staff was not accommodating, and the whole place is very run down and not clean at all. We were scared we were not in a safe area.

It was gross. Over cook sausage and hair in the eggs. Disgusting!!!!

Their attitude with talking to people. People actually around at the time of breakfast to be able to say something. How many other hairs did people find??

Great place to stay and breakfast was phenomenal.

The staff was very respectful and very nice. The breakfast great! Shoot out to the ladies who put that spread on. The ladies worked hard and kept the area clean, also I really enjoyed talking with them. Great personalities. Also I loved how they had benches to sit on outside in front and smoking area. Most hotels I’ve stayed at don’t and it’s very annoying and doesn’t cater to yes “ the smokers”. So thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

Bed was comfy and mini fridge kept drinks super cold.

Breakfast could be improved by adding more hot items like oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, pancakes. None of these things would take much time to prepare.

Good for the price, yummy breakfast and nice hospitality!

The breakfast was really good and had variety for everyone. The rooms were spacious and accommodating. Every one was so nice and it was definitely worth the price! Would recommend to people who want to be close to the Ark encounter and the creation museum and Newport Aquarium.

Close to the concert. I booked though booking.com. For one price and then they raised my price .

Did not like the breakfast I threw it away after one.

As you enter Though the front door the rug and entrance was not clean. The room was ok, the carpet needs some cleaning. The breakfast was very disappointing. I got my food took one bite and ended up throwing it away. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Leaking hot tube

The light atmosphere

Our hot tub in room had a leak and wouldn't stay filled up. Took the concern to front desk they said they would take care of it or switch rooms. Never heard another word. When asked about it when leaving the new front desk associate didn't know what I was talking about about and they said management would be calling me Monday. I have yet to receive a call. I could have saved $150 and gotten a normal room or saved $270 and not gotten a room. Only reason room was bought was so I could relax in the hot tub and it wasn't able to be achieved. Very upset about wasted money and no help for a better outcome.

Convenient & very comfortable surroundings.

Clean comfortable bed, very nice breakfast area & loved the fireplace in the reading area.

Location is superb. The breakfast is fair because I do not take pork, so I expected to be interchanging pork with beef/lamb etc. I love the orange drink very very tasty and good

Friendly, cheerful staff in a convenient location, great value for money.

The young desk clerk/receptionist (I didn't catch her name) was exceptionally cheerful and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. I wish all hotels had someone that good at the front desk! Also, the kitchen staff soldiered on with great attitude when the power went out for nearly 24 hours, and they provided what they could and made the best of a difficult situation.

Convenient location off the highway; simple and basic spot to rest for the night

Could hear every little sound - people walking upstairs, in hallways. Very noisy. No way to keep fan running in room with AC unit to help block sounds and for air flow. No fan in bathroom. Pillows were awful. For what we paid, didn’t feel it was justified. This is a very basic no frills lodging.

Overpriced, worn down facility.

Convenient location. The person at the front desk was lovely and gave us a different room after the first room we were given had a terrible musty smell.

The breakfast was very much lacking for a $200 a night stay compared to every other place we have stayed. Very little choice, overdone dried out wrinkly sausage, odd tasting eggs. Facility was worn down, stained hallway carpets.

Would Definitely Return. :-)

The staff was kind, and gave complementary cookies at the beginning of our stay. There wasn’t many people staying while we did, so it was mainly quiet. They had great choices for breakfast including crockpot biscuits and gravy and fresh breads. We stayed in the jacuzzi room and left feeling very refreshed. The end of our stay was easy, not having to remove linens or towels from their areas. Would stay again if in the area.

The ONLY thing I can think is that our room was eye level with the traffic afar, but that problem was simply solved by closing the blackout curtains, which were great while sleeping!!

Comfortable beds, clean rooms, clean pool, good breakfast, and good location! The front desk clerks even gave us cookies during the check-in process.

My only complaint would be the pool area. It was very clean and well stocked on towels but it's indoors so naturally it's humid in the room so maybe an overhead fan of some sort would better help with the air circulation and with the smell from the pool chemicals or even opening the windows.

Staff was nice and the room was a great price. Very close to Riverbend..pool was clean. Close to a couple of food choices. Very nice free breakfast as well.

Carpet and walls were dirty in common areas. Needs updating. Elevator had a constant odor.
