Terrible Experience/smells/cardsdon't work

The room smelled like smoke and mildew. The cards didn't work even after going up and down the stairs multiple times to have them activated. The staff was argumentative about the cards not working even though he stated the machine was old and didn't work well. And to top it off, there's a confederate flag flying outside the building. It was an awful experience. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. There are 20 other hotels within a few minutes to choose from. Anything else is better than this place.

The staff was accommodating and let us check in early.

The hotel was old, smelled funny, electric curtains did not work, and we were placed in an ADA room that was not needed or wanted.

The staff were helpful with a situation we had at the hotel.

The dresser in the room was broken and someone had to place Kleenex packages under it to make it level. The curtains were all cut up and the pool was unusable.

If you need a place to shower and sleep, this is your place

I liked that the hotel was easy to find off interstate and near many restaurants. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The linens were clean. I love how the towels were fast drying; making getting ready easier & faster. Continental breakfast was good. Wished English muffins were offered.

Decor was dated. The mini fridge wasn't cold enough. The bathroom faucet squirted everywhere. Shower only had two settings; cold and warm. The shower temp wouldn't go over all the way to hot. The TV remote would not let me enter in a channel. Had to channel up or down. Pain in the butt.

The breakfast was great. they had gluten free items, which most places don’t .

there was food all over the carpet, stairs and in our room. the tub had a constant drip, my husband fixed the toilet so it could be flushed and there were huge holes in the black out curtains.

Pictures vs reality

Clean room

A bit neglected. When my daughter and me saw the swimming pool we could not stop laughing - at the pictures it seems to be very large while in reality is not much larger than a bath. I saw many pictures of pools during my US trip and all of them showed the pools bigger than in reality but it was so extreme case (((:
