Timbers at Island Park

The home was beautiful inside and outside. It was easy to find and in a perfect, central location. I enjoyed cooking, sleeping and just hanging around the home.

I got a flat tire due to off roading and managed to change it to the donut, spare tire right there in the parking lot. Thankfully, Timbers at Island Park is close enough to Yellowstone Airport so I could drive there and exchange the car for a different one.

The staff was incredible. The office and facilities available were great! Pool, multi-use room, sauna, pool, hot tub, vending machine, etc. all in great shape. The ease of access and spacious feeling of the property in general and the condos themselves were great. Obvious recent effort to give the units a refresh made it feel well maintained. The size of the bedrooms was fantastic and fully equipped kitchen made everything easy and convenient. Even used the laundromat and it was easy with kind employees. Will 100% stay here again if/when we come back to the Yellowstone area.

Everything was well set and soo good location my parents came from india and we stayed at Timbers they were also very very happy about the stay Also th reception staff was very friendly- the guy at the reception name starting with B was super supportive i would recommend to give him a hike

I liked everything

It was clean and served its purpose. Having said that, it was not the unit specified on booking.com. It was on the second floor, smaller and the bathroom set up was different. The reason I chose this booking was the fact that it was shown to be on the ground floor with a bathroom attached to the bedroom. Due to medical reasons, the ground floor was preferred, as navigating the stairs were difficult.

The staff were borderline rude and extremely impersonal. The family, who were checking in ahead of us, were from France, based on the passports l glimpsed in their hands. my husband and I could clearly see that they were having difficulty understanding the directions and check-in information. The check-in lady clearly did not pick up on that or didn’t care. We had difficulty and we speak English. One instruction, was when leaving, to leave your garbage on the corner of the parking lot. But there are signs everywhere that this was Bear country. The receptionist didn’t welcome us, ask where we were coming from or if it was our first trip to Idaho, etc. She just complained that tomorrow was her Friday and she was working 12 hours a day. I’ve had friendlier service from a government agency or at the DMV. Also, the place was in need of maintenance, especially painting and fixing of broken steps. clearly understaffed. Absolutely no resort feeling.
