I loved the location and the pool and we had a nice room

The bed kinda sucks and my back hurts and I never have back problems so it’s definitely the bed

The front desk staff was extremely terrible especially since I needed a change in date which I called for and she had just hand up on me quick. Never seen anyone do like that but finally a booking.com staff helped me solve the issue.

Location was good

Towels and washcloths were dirty. Toilet seat was loose. Breakfast was not good—selection and quality of food did not meet previous breakfast experiences at Choice Hotels.

I thought the front desk receptionist was a bit cold and unwelcoming. Might just have been a bad day for her but she didn't smile once or make eye contact.

Location was perfect for what we needed. Breakfast was hot and plentiful as well as tasty. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was wonderfully refreshing!

The pool was actually heated!

The rm just didn't feel comfortable. It started with the bathroom being dirty and hair in the tub/shower, the bathroom sink didn't drain properly and the was dirty from that alone when I looked in the sink there was hair and toilet paper in there and not to mention the nasty toilet seat! The breakfast was not good either. The bacon, French toast sticks look to be undercooked. They only had cow milk. Most places at least offer 2 different types of milk, 1 being non dairy. This is definitely not a 3☆ more like a 2☆!

I was thankful that the location was by the water. The lobby was nice.

I didn't like the fact that the room was not cleaned. When items were needed for the room the front desk rep could not leave the desk. For example, I went to the desk for tissue. I was told that I had to go back to my room to get the empty roll, then bring it to the front desk to show that it had been used. Then I could receive a new roll. It was the same process for towels. No one cleaned the room during the weekend visit. The mattress was also dirty. The customer service was not available at this location. The walls are paper thin. As a result you here telephone conversations of the people in the next room. I paid for a King Suite, but it was not anything sweet about the suite.

The room was very clean, the beds were super comfortable and breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Quiet and calm. Ideal for families and for a quick stay.

When we checked in for a three night stay we were given the room card in a business card sized envelope. The man at the desk told us breakfast information and a card for housekeeping was in the tiny envelope. It was very unwelcoming. I did ask the man to tell us the place and time for breakfast so I wouldn't have to look in the envelope. We were told housekeeping only enters a guest room every three days unless requested !!! When I got out of the shower on Saturday morning I took a towel off the towel bar and the towel bar fell off the wall along with all the clean towels. I reported it using the tiny request paper and was told it would be taken care of while we were away at a wedding. The hotel's solution was to place a luggage rack in the bathroom and pile the towels from the floor on it (not even folded) and the luggage rack stayed until we checked out Monday. We came home at 10:30 p.m. Saturday night from a wedding. We had to drive through the parking lot three times before finding a spot. There is a very very busy bar opposite the hotel, two other hotels, and a Texas Roadhouse. Cars were parked everywhere. Had I had been traveling on my own I wouldn't have felt very safe in the parkign lot. On Sunday morning I went to the front desk and asked for more towels since the clean towels had fallen on the floor and we had used the others for two days. I was told they could give me more towels but that I had to go back to our room and bring the soiled and wet ones to the front desk. After going back to our room and back to the front desk I did receive fresh towels. I could tell the hotel was understaffed and don't blame the staff but everything needs to be improved.

Room was large and fairly comfortable.

Hallways were very poorly lit. Our milk got a little too warm in our ice chest, our fault. But our 1 yr old granddaughter needed warm milk to go to sleep, and they told me they didn't have any milk on the property. Had to make a late night run.

The breakfast was good and checking in and out was easy.

Nothing was clean, the pillows were stained, the shower had a crack in it, the toilet wasn't properly sealed so it shifted, and some of the staff were extremely rude. Especially one of the dark haired ladies in the morning giving nasty snarky comments to other guests while people are trying to eat breakfast. At night there was a gentleman who claimed there was quiet hours after 10 and was extremely hostile when mentioning it to me and my family when we weren't making any noise, while there were people slamming doors and running up and down the halls all night long keeping us up. I will not be staying here again I guarantee I will be mentioning it to everyone I know.
