Extended Stay America Suites - Indianapolis - Castleton

I booked this hotel a while back for one night, when we got there and went to our room we immediately knew from the smell it would be terrible. The ENTIRE room was dirty. The bath tub. BOTH beds. The counters. The sink. ALL OF IT was disgusting. I went down and asked for a different room or for ours to be re cleaned. The staff member explained understanding (thankfully) and gave us the option of the one other room available. Same exact thing in the other room. This one had trash in the floor and in the closet from the previous people that were in it. We attended a concert, so we got back late our key card to open the door to get into the building was broken so we couldn’t get back in. Walked all around the hotel and found a side door that was cracked open. Got in that way and we checked at at 6:30 in the morning. Absolutely the worst stay in our lives. Completely disappointed for $210 for a single I night. I’ve attached pictures and I have SO many more of how BOTH rooms were just simply nasty.

**I was here because I was one of the thousands of people without power since Wednesday. Here out of sheer desperation to save my food and get out of the heat** Unclean-telephone and mirrors were filthy; bathroom mirror and photos are covered in soap and toothpaste scum. I went home to get my own cleaning supplies to clean. The kitchen floor was sticky, only 2 luggage carts for the entire hotel, air conditioner made noise all night, and the screen was missing from ths right side window. The kitchen trash can was covered in some sort of dried liquid scum. Recommend having a refresher course with housekeeping.

It was a good price for what it offered .

Not clean, staff not around. Terrible hotel

Clogged toilets Room wasn’t cleaned at all just new towels In bathroom but someone’s pubic hairs was all over toilet and in shower. Urine stains around toilet seat Had to visit the front desk for plunger for toilet more than 3 times. Toilet wouldn’t flush and it just had urine in it. Guy at front desk stated the only had 1 plunger in the entire building. Had to go buy bleach and other cleaning products to clean the room myself. Staff was ok tho no issues with them and their customer service. This location isn’t like the other extended stays I have booked at, the was the worse experience I’ve ever had staying at a hotel!!

It was very clean and was a good price. The breakfast items at the breakfast bar was really good.

The staff at the front desk when I was checking out was basically not there. Had to call on a phone to get their attention but they never answered so I had to just leave my room key and leave. Staff needs to be more present.

We got in late and the lady said if we would have came in 30 mins later we won’t of had a room. Even though we reserved a room it’s first come first served. So we got the last room which wasn’t what I booked. It was a smoking room which I’m allergic to and it stunk. Wasn’t clean but it’s all they had so we dealt with it. The continental breakfast wasn’t a that it was just coffee and a muffin.

Dirty, feces left in the toilet, dead cockroaches on the wall as well as live cockroaches crawling.

The room was not clean. My husband brushed a dead stink bug off of the cabinet and then the next morning he was climbing up the wall. Neither of us showered because there were long black hairs in the tub.

The overnight desk person was helpful during a horrible situation with the hotel guest directly above us.

Hotel bathroom was filthy and needs remodeling. While checking in we asked for extra coffee for a.m. which we were given - only to find out when we got to the room there are no coffee provided unless requested. Got a coffee pot then found out we also needed cups. The desk person could have prevented our two trips by explaining this in the beginning when we asked for extra coffee.

I liked the cost for one night with two people and that it was close to Pendleton, where I had an event the next day. The staff was helpful with concerns I had about our room.

The room wasn’t clean. There was someone else’s hair in the bathtub while I was showering. Our room smelled of Indian food and we had to spray it with room sprays to get rid of the stench. There was a lack of selection regarding breakfast food. Finally, the previous guest left her pink shoe underneath the bed which I returned to front desk.
