Room was comfortable, and clean.
Smelled musty and a little too dark. Front desk could use a course in customer service. The gentleman was rude right of the bat about I cannot check in until 4pm, it was 3:40. Rudely stated I could if I paid extra.
Requested a pool view if available and was not offered anything, even as an upgrade for additional cost. Seems they placed everyone on the opposite side of the courtyard and had plenty of vacant rooms available. But overall everything was ok.

The property is on the older side so expect that it’s maintenance team are constantly keeping up with the passage of time. Not everything is perfect, but it is well appointed and provides what you need for a stay. It’s not luxury, doesn’t pretend to be. Beds were comfortable and the place was clean. The bar was great, staff were hospitable and on a Friday evening from 7pm onwards it becomes the local hotspot, live music, dancing, lots of fun! It was February so we can’t comment on the pool. Food was basic, but decent - we had the hot honey chicken sandwich and wings. Our favorite place was the bar in the evening. Despite it being a hotspot, our room was quiet and Kevin the maintenance man was awesome, we had some issues with our first room, but and the lovely man on the front desk got us sorted and gave us a free breakfast for the inconvenience.
I would say the biggest issue is staff morale, hard to put your finger on it, but I overheard several staff members complaining to each other or to management on the phone.
