Staff was very friendly and the rooms have a decent view of the ocean.

It’s in a decent location and if your on the second floor or above you get a good view of the ocean.

The beds are extremely out dated and not comfortable. The room was also not the cleanest but it was decent.

Cheap, low-budget.

It was a hovel of a room in the back on the ground floor. It was tiny and dark. The bathroom was very dark and the shower was small. It is very dated and likely hasn't had any significant upgrades in decades.

The view was the only good thing about this place.

Outdated, beds felt like sleeping on cardboard. Dark and dingy. Smelt like someone walked around with an incense. Overpriced for what you pay.

Disappointing

The only thing I liked was the pillows.

I paid for a room with a view and didn't get a view. The window was small and it felt as if we were in a dungeon. We ended staying in newport for another night but we went to a different hotel. Will not stay at econo lodge again.

Was crap. I paid a $159 for a $60 a night room

I liked nothing.

The bed was hard as a rock, the coffee maker was old and the coffee was nasty. The room has no air conditioning, and cable on the t.v was like watching antenna t.v in a thunderstorm.

Not comfy no sea view.

Customer service was impolite & very rude Arabian guy at the lobby didn’t allow for us to have extra pillows. No creamer. No courtesy water. Bad experience overall. He wouldn’t let us have a refund for our second night since our first night was uncomfortable no A/C no fan & hot. The floor was a bit messy where we first got there.

Questionable practice on security deposit

The rooms were very clean. I love that they gave us four pillows on each of the beds, a great selection of TV channels. The staff were very friendly asking how our stay at the beach is.

I would have definitely given it a higher rating had they not already charged my card $100 for the security deposit, I have never stayed in a motel that they charge your card for something that hasn't happened, the room should be inspected and then the hold on your card released, but here they actually went ahead and charged the $100 on my card which I didn't find Fair so initially up front I had to pay $270 for a cheap motel room. The beds are so hard! Why why why do they have to be so hard, it really puts a damper on your stay when you can't sleep because the bed is so hard.

We had a good time it was a good location the staff were friendly.

It was weird because there was someone on property watching usload and take our things to the room so that was awkward, and the room took a long time to heat up.

The location was excellent, you could see the ocean. You could also hear it and the seagulls they did not have any breakfast though even though it was advertises they did.

They could have had a breakfast but other than that everything was satisfactory, the staff was very good. I was visiting from out of town and had my kids there with the grandkids as I'm sure it was loud the rooms were well insulated and were no problems. I loved it and I'll be back there again soon.

Awesome stay at Econo Lodge

The distance to a store for sodas and snacks and next door to a Chinese restaurant with great food. The sweet and sour chicken was filling. And the heater is nice to be warm on this Christmas eve.

Water from the shower was on the floor yet waited for it to dry and I love the shower pressure.

Great value, great staff. Perfect location for the price. Room was clean and place seemed to be well maintained.

Bed was older and mattress was broken down and extremely uncomfortable. Could use some up dating and clean ing around vending machines and ice machines.

Aside not having AC in the room and the no breakfast, the stay was fine the room was clean.

There was no AC which made it very hard for everyone to sleep through the night. The room felt warm and muggy the whole stay. There was a small fan which didn’t do much. Description stated continental breakfast once I checked in there was a sign that stated no breakfast. Which isn’t a big deal but with kids I try and plan stays with breakfast available to make it an easier get up and go. Would be helpful for them to have stated that it wasn’t available in description.
