they get real mad when u dont book through them and axually have a sighn stating extending by 3rd party will be denided so much so that they came in my room threating my son while i was at work and didn't know about this policy even told him they would call the police if we didn't leave but i was at work and he was in a wheelchair and didn't know what to do rooms are nice but a crack head was always lurking around my door offering to help with what i don't know

I upgraded our room because the website said whirl pool tub. My husband has several health issues that could have definitely benefited from that kind of tub. During check in m my husband again confirmed the whirlpool tub. When we finally got in the room, the tub was not working. After Check out and after notifying agoda of the situation, that we paid extra for the upgrade, just for the WHIRLPOOL TUB, the front desk informed Agoda that it was an old key tin in the room, that they weren't going to reimburse the difference of the rooms so AGODA covered it. But the room was basically the same as the basic room. So my review is simply a warning if you get this room type bc you want a so called"better" room, SAVE YOUR MONEY. ... There is no difference in the two. Same square feet, same facility amenities and the whirlpool tub was supposed to be the Big selling point for the upgrade but it isn't really a room ammmemity. Save your money and upgrade your dinner plate when you venture out for dinner. Then your money for an upgrade really gets you more....lol. otherwise the facility has been under revitalization efforts for the last year or so and I can see where this particular RedRoof strives hard to keep things current and with modern comforts and amenities. Breakfast is there on site, and it is free( no hidden cost).A few things on their menu are hot but it's not like it's the Greatest breakfast from a hotel, but in this area it is one of the better ones. They seem to have replaced some of the staff that had lousy attitudes in the past, and the new blood up at the front desk, was refreshing this time. All in all this is a good value for a sudsy, it's basically simple things that could easily be fixed that would change this hotel from a good hotel to a GREAT HOTEL. Simple stuff like a drink machine with actual drinks, and a more current one , like one that accepts my visa( not just quarters). Or wifi that was more stable. Love their tvs but they don't do me any good when I can't get connected. And one time the room we had didn't have a remote when we got there and even with the remote the front desk brought us we never could get connected to watch our YouTube or Netflix or Disney+. Just a few things I thought I would share. Best things about the place, the rooms smell fresh bc the smoking Is done outside (if you smoke). All non-smoking rooms keeps that stale room smell away. And the other thing is the housekeeping is fabulous bc everything is really clean. The sheets are crisp and bright white which makes the bed, oh so inviting. We have stayed here about 20+ times. Before the remodel when it was the Magnosen and now... it's better and better Everytime. . Not completely throwing shade at this place... just wanted to warn about the supposed upgrade and the fact it was advertised but the staff told agoda that the jet tub was in the room but not working. So my thing is, don't advertise it as such,anddont expect your consumer to know it's not working, I could have selected a different hotel with that option bc that was a necessity that night.
