The price and location
When I checked in the front desk clerk asked for a $100 deposit. I feel like the deposit is way too much. It immediately taken out of your checking account and when you check out the front desk clerk told it will take 2 to 3 business days to be credited back to your checking account. Why is the deposit so much? I've stayed at 5 star hotels and never have I ever paid that large of a deposit

Proximity to Missouri S&T
Booking. Com said breakfast included. Only food was basket of nutrigrain bars, granola bar and coffee which had to ask to make.
Tub was badly in need of refinishing… would not stand in it

While this is an older hotel, it is very well kept. I've been in newer hotels that weren't nearly as well kept - no chipped paint, furniture in good condition. Front desk friendly and attentive. Ice machine worked and was convenient.
Breakfast was lame. Coffee and a basket with packaged donuts and granola bars. I don't even consider that breakfast.
