Comfort Suites Terre Haute University Area

Staff and room were excellent! Enjoyed interacting with them. Bed was very comfortable and the couch and coffee table was a nice addition. Bathroom was roomy the indoor pool a huge plus. The hot breakfast was good and coffee all through the day

The price but there were three other events going on that weekend and understand supply and demand

The room had comfortable beds and was clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Good price point, too.

The pool was shut down, which was a bummer because that is one of the main reasons why I booked it this property. When I walked into the lobby, I was hit with a strong acidic odor that was unbearable, a mix of chemicals and something else, like mold? Or maybe it was the decaying pool off the lobby? To top it off, the 2% milk I used for my cereal was sour. I had to throw it out. The waffles and rest of the food were fine.

Was surprised of no carpet in room , but it does help with people in wheelchairs and allergies. The pool was closed! The window screen needs replaced or repaired.

Our room was so damp that even the towels in the bathroom felt wet before we even used them. I think the air conditioner was leaking on the floor, as well. There was an oily type spot on the floor just as you entered the room

The breakfast was very good. The facility was clean and comfortable.

I am appalled that the rate almost tripled from the usual amount due to Special Olympics being in Terre Haute for the weekend! To take advantage of those who are disabled is reprehensible.

Food was plentiful and hot. Young lady was giddy and very polite.

The landing page for the Wi-Fi was not very easy to access. Once you clicked on the Wi-Fi, you were taken to the access page, but the page took at least two minutes to load.

Staff very accommodating.

The beds were very comfortable BUT the metal bed platforms were noisy. In the middle of the night getting up and kicked it slightly it rumbled. All the staff were fantastic. I like the lemon water/coffee bar in the lobby.

Very clean and centrally located for our needs. Courteous and knowledgeable associates. Complimentary breakfast was sufficient. The size of the rooms were very roomy and the beds comfy.

The staff could not find my reservation and the tub was not clean.There was also a disturbance outside the door around 4am. A man banging on the door.

It was a really nice place to stay in Terre Haute. It was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. The breakfast was eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles and all the continental items.

They were out of coffee and biscuits and we were in a hurry.

Nothing. They refused our reservation when we arrived because we have a small dog even though their website clearly states they are pet friendly. I also booked on a pet friendly web site. Not good after a 10 hour drive.

The room was very pretty and big! Comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious! Quiet rooms!

The room had a funky, stale smell, the whole building smelled faintly of "armpit/body odor" for some weird reason the entire stay! The pool had only 4 towels on the" bare" rack, the next morning the towels still weren't stocked and now had none. The workout area had no towels and 3 cups, later no cups. The next morning cups still weren't stocked. The pool temperature is not maintained either. Big surprise as they clearly don't even stock low items. I mean that water is freezing! Same hotel, in crawfordsville, their pool is always warm! The pool area should be hot because the pool is supposed to be a certain temp, so when I walked into the pool area at this terre haute hotel and it was room temperature, I knew that pool was going to be freezing. Needless to say, the kids tried to tough it out, but it was just too cold, and I didn't get to swim at all. The pool is the only reason we stayed at this hotel. Should pay the extra little bit and go to the neighbor hotel, Drury Inn if you are specifically needing a pool for your stay. I should have listened about the cold pool. Lesson learned. Also, the couch bed had no sheets, which he kindly gave us clean ones, but saw a booger on the pillowcase of the pillow we were to use! So check that your bedding is not used from a previous stay! Washer is crap! The washer and dryer are both very old and very expensive to not even get a good clean! The room was very pretty and comfortable overall, but the terrible smell, the pool being too cold to even comfortably swim, I'm no way making the same mistake.
