The blinds in my room didn’t fully close. This led to me feeling a little uncomfortable especially coming out the shower etc since my window overlooked the car park.

Nasty, not clean, water in shower wasn’t working, blood on curtains, water pressure sucks and I can go on!

Bed was very comfortable, (best feature) actually superior to the one @ Hilton Garden Inn. Pillows and linens were better than average in its class. The gentleman behind the desk was very nice, and helpful.

Many tired, worn, or stained surfaces: including cigarette burns on toilet seat and edge of bathtub which contributed to a slightly down-market feel overall, despite the general cleanliness being acceptable, and many new pieces of modern furniture. There seems to be a disregard for such incongruent details, despite some recent re-decorating. Pool is permanently closed, which was sad, as I hadn’t read any mention of that. I was looking forward to swimming. Too much “Green Tea” air freshener being spritzed continuously in the lobby by a timed-atomiser. Between the new vinyl plank flooring throughout (strong out-gassing vinyl odour) and this cloying scent deployed continuously, those with allergies or scent sensitivities should beware. Windows actually open wide, so weather permitting, one can properly ventilate the room. I ran the fan on high continuously to remedy the situation once the temperature plummeted. Breakfast was not very inspiring either. Described as an inclusive hot breakfast only consisted of waffles (no butter), and square egg scramble portions. Not what I’m accustomed to in such places. Ordinarily there are hash browns, or other potatoes, bacon or sausage, but not at this location. No coffee or tea, or electric kettle in the room either, only a pump carafe at the 6-8 O’Clock breakfast. The gentleman behind the desk professionally dealt with my many suggestions. He could sympathise with many of my objections. WiFi signal was weak, and service kept dropping off as well, making working online quite challenging and slow.
