They are doing renovations.

It states is a non-smoking hotel but it wreaked of weed.

I booked this hotel to be close to a professional meeting in the area, and relied on the good reviews of people who stayed there before me. I was pleased to see that the reviews reflected reality. Granted, it is a no-frills hotel, but it is clean, the rooms have everything you need (nice to have a bigger fridge and a microwave, too!) and the staff is friendly and ready to help if needed. There is a coffee place and pizza place right next door, and a few more chain food places to eat (and a gas station) right across the street. There is laundry for guests that is easily accessible right off the lobby. I didn't use it, but saw it being used a couple of times. It is in a beautiful residential neighborhood, so not much 'to do' right there and then, but it is right off the highway if you drive to the mountains (Baldy mountain lives up to its name!) or take a bike ride on the path nearby, or just stretch your legs on Baseline Avenue and enjoy the palm trees lining both sides. The indoor swimming pool is small but clean - I did not use it myself, but I saw other guests enjoy it, families as well as adults. The breakfast room is open 6-9am (and closed the rest of the time). Everything at breakfast was clean, tidy, inviting, and sufficient. Mostly things you'll have at home: toast, bagels, cereal, yogurt, waffle maker, eggs, sausage, coffee, tea, juices. No fancy stuff, but everything you need. Staff tended to the room through the morning to make sure all's well. Other guests were friendly and considerate and I found the hotel to be calm, safe, clean, and homey. I was there for business in the area and I think it is perfect for such a stay. There were also families with babies, young couples, and older couples. By the way, there was construction on the third floor (which was closed off), but true to the promise of the front desk staff - it did NOT disturb me at the least where I was on the 2nd floor. No noise. No dirt. Yay.

It is not really a complaint, but more of a suggestion - I think that it be nice if the breakfast room was kept open throughout the day - with perhaps just coffee/tea/water (extra points for cookies), as it would upgrade it immediately to having a place for guests to sit beyond the few seats in the entry lobby. The breakfast room is such a pleasant room that I think they can use it for a lot more than just for 3 hours each morning!

Walking distance to a Starbucks.

This was advertised as a smoke free establishment but the whole hotel smelled of weed! I was not credited my money back for the days I had already paid for in advance.

The carpet in the room I stayed in had a red stain and the sheets on one of the beds was stained!

I liked the bed and whirlpool and the staff were very good.

The breakfast could have been better. Also they were doing renovations and that caused there to be ants in our room. They didn't bother us too much but they were there.

Comfort Inn is in a beautiful and conducive environment that is easily accessible.

Everything was perfect

My room had a bath tub. There was an indoor pool. Bed was comfortable. And a fridge in the room.

The coffee was terrible, both in the little coffee maker in the room, and in the breakfast area, really bad tasting. And the only fruit at breakfast were apples.

The room was a bit small and the fact that the sink was outside the bathroom a little inconvenient specially because the coffee machine takes much of the space there, but generally speaking it was good specially because it’s close to stores, restaurants and gas stations.

The indoor pool and jacuzzi.

The mold growing in the jacuzzi and the peeled wall next to the hot tub. It reminded me of asbestos.

Everything is super clean , the staff is great the only place I will be staying at in Fontana!!!

I really enjoyed my stay. The location was clean visually appealing. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and working condition. My room had shampoo and conditioner (full sized stationary bottles), blow dryer, a mini fridge and microwave. Breakfast from 6am-9am consisted of waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt, toast, English muffins, bagels, apples, cereal, blueberry or banana nut muffins and drink choices of apple juice, orange juice or coffee. There was also a very nice Starbucks in the same parking lot. The staff was extremely friendly. It was an enjoyable and pleasant stay.

The beds were definitely not even queen size. We made it work but were very disappointed with the beds being very small. Other than that the stay and staff were great.
