A clean facility with freeway access

The property was clean. The room was a nice size, and the addition of a complementary breakfast was appreciated.

It is not the fault of the property, but there were other guests, making noise until 3 o’clock in the morning with no intervention by staff. Slamming of doors, yelling, running up and down the walkways in front of the rooms. I slept very little.

Hotel has an older vibe needing a freshening up.

Love the cook to order breakfast. Great coffee. Awesome location to everything we needed nearby. Quiet AC/Heat. Lots of parking. Convenience store adjacent.

Bed and pillows weren't comfortable. DirecTV channels showed many unavailable channels.

Nice surprise.

It was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Although the M etrolink train was right behind the hotel, it was surprisingly quiet. The breakfast staff was great! Nice menu selection. Will be staying there again.

Horrible

I’ve always in the past stayed here. It used to be clean with what appeared quality furniture and bedding. But this time our king was CLEARLY a blow up mattress. So low to the floor we had to use the wall to get up. Sat on the end of the bed to put shoes on and like all air mattress’s with low air I sunk to the floor. It felt musty, and dirty. Too bad,,, I use to like it there. But won’t consider it again, no matter how close to the area I want to be in.

The garden is so pretty, a lot of beautiful flowers . The rooms are clean and wider than I thought. Good breakfast

The lady who works at the reception desk was not friendly and professional enough when we reported that there were rocks or something in the pool she did nothing and no apologizing even though it could have scratched people in the pool which happened to our kid plus it was on both feet.:<

Best Western San Dimas

I liked the location, the room was ample, the bed was comfortable but not the pillows so, shower was nice, plenty of furniture for seating, the rose garden including gladiolas, geraniums and succulents around the pool, breakfast was good but did run out if some items by 9:30.

Pillows are small, breakfast items, i.e., bagels, yogurt ran out before 9:30 when serving until 10:00 on the weekend, and my alarm clock did not work, it would not turn on.

Don't do it...Not worth the price!

The location and free breakfast

I was having some work done on my home and needed to empty it for a few days. i chose this hotel because of proximity to my house and 3 star reviews/ great pics. however.... My room was very musty when I arrived. I did do early check in, so I paid an additional amount to get into my room. The pictures and review on website do not match. my room did not have a smoke alarm. I mentioned it to the front desk and they said they were installing them next week. I advised them that if a fire broke out to please knock on door ( i was being sarcastic) my room should have a smoke alarm for safety purpose, no excuses. He didn't ask to move me or give me a credit. Rug was sticky and on last day, saw 2 bugs. I was done. I paid over $500 for 3 nights. Never again BW San Dimas!! I will pay the additional $300 to stay at high end hotel in Claremont if needed in the future. Don't fall for this place unless you have no choice!

Breakfast was OK, didn’t like how it was required to eat at the area where they were serving breakfast.

The hotel needs new furniture, the room was seriously dusty, and when I checked into the first room, the toilet handle wasn’t working which meant I had to lift up the cover to manually pull up the handle to flush the toilet.

The locations was good.

The room was very old and dated. The couch was dirty with stains and I did not even wanted to sit on the couch! The heater was so noisy and old. There was no change of sheets even when the house keeping cleaned the room!

Disappointed

Location was good.

We have stayed here before and it was great: location, comfort, staff. This time not so good. The head of the bed was lower than the foot of the bed, floor seemed to slant. Very uncomfortable Check in was not good. Needed a room downstairs due to husbands mobility, she said none available. Staff gave me two key cards but only one ticket for breakfast each day. I tried to explain there were two of us and we both needed tickets and she said no we didn't. Since we were just at this location in April and needed a ticket each, I expected she was wrong. TV in room would's work so again tried to speak to this person about the tickets and also to let her know about the tv. She came to room with another remote but that did not fix the problem. I finally just reset the Direct Box. Not a good time.

Satisfied my needs for a short stay.

Breakfast was good but limited. Serving size of hot meal could have been more. Rooms was large, lots of extra space. Location was adequate for my purposes. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

Rooms were noisy, neighbors arguing all night long, TV on with volume up. Thin walls. Need more bath soap and shampoo.
