Gorgeous room and amenities

The room was absolutely breathtaking and super spacious. I upgraded to Executive Suite for the extra space. It had a little living room with an extra TV. Everything was light and airy and decorated with exquisite taste. The balcony wrapped around the room. It was a magnificent room. The hotel itself is located on a gorgeous beach, right outside of a fabulous pool area.
What was shocking and I complained about was that for some reason incomprehensible to me, there was a connecting door from our Executive Suite to the next room. Both doors were locked, but neither touched the floor. The space between the door and carpeting allowed noise to pass freely. I was awoken one morning at 6:15 when the neighbors turned on their lights and immediately started laughing. I complained in reception. They apologized and assured me that no-one would be occupying the room between their departure that morning and ours two days later. That night, however, there were more loud people in the room. Reception again apologized, said there had been a confusion or miscommunication between colleagues and eliminated the resort fee for the day. Obviously, I would have preferred silence.
The daily parking fee of $44 plus tax and then expected tip each time you get your car I thought was crazy expensive.

We got a good room, ocean facing. Beach access was really good. The property is far from all the happening places. Something to keep in mind while booking. Good place if you are looking for a quieter place without much expectation on amenities.
- Water was not draining in the shower area as it was not leveled. We were given a mop and asked to mop everyday to avoid water retention
- Breakfast was very average, similar to what we get in Fairfield Inn.
- There were 2 small elevators in the North tower, where our room was. One elevator was broken/ out of service through out our stay. Ultimately we started taking the stairs to avoid long wait to go up or down.
- The room was not cleaned one day when we specifically asked them to clean up
- None of the issues were addressed during the checkout.
