The room smelled musty, the ac unit was loud and made a clanking noise.

This place TRUELY exceed my expectations. I mean, I expect the basics and hospitality, but the staff was just so CHARMING, on top of being nice, that I felt truly welcomed. Also, the accommodation was so complete. This hotel provides so much more than other places that I have stayed in. You can tell that everything was so well planned, and thought out by the designers. It is larger than most of the rooms that I stay in. It has a complete little kitchen and a sink ! It was very clean ! It has the best bathroom lighting that I have ever encountered, and I put my make-up on in the bathroom, instead of on the bed with natural daylight. I could bathe and watch TV from the bathroom, by rotating the TV. The bed was very comfortable. The temperature was perfect, and the windows were secured by those metal things that I purchased for my own home. The carpet was very clean, and the bathroom and kitchen and entry area had a nice composite wooden flooring. Everything was very clean. It felt like a complete apartment ! 2 door locks were provided for security. And they gave more TV channels than most places, at no additional cost. What is not to love ? I will, rest assuredly, be back !

Little things : The kitchen sink drained slowly. The tub’s stopper allowed for a slow drain, so you have to watch that, so you don’t lose too much water. The night time staff, (who was a love by the way) did not communicate to the daytime staff that I asked for a little more time in the morning because of my sleep issues. Just a small oversight. I explained it to the daytime staff though, and it was, in the end, a non issue. Both were delightful to interact with. Love them. I am thinking - and I cannot think of anything else. I cannot wait to return ! No more stays in Walnut Creek for me - Pleasant Hill for the win !!!

I don’t think they should promote breakfast included when it was literally just oatmeal packets or nutrigrain bars.

Paper plates, paper cups and plastic utensils for 24 hours with no replacements. Seriously;
