The night lady working was the only good thing about the stay

The hotel was dirty the chairs were dirty the room was dirty. The pillows were small and uncomfortable. This was a last minute choice as we passed through but will never stay here again

At La Quinta in Fruita, we had a nice top-floor suite for the evening. Friendly staff, good room choice, with a super large room being provided exactly as advertised and booked. Outlook: View over surrounding fields. Decor: modern and well-laid-out large suite. Desk & electrical sockets: desk with adequate access to power sockets and USB outlets. In-room safe: No Breakfast: Basic American-style buffet with choices of cereal, hot food, waffles or muffins, yoghurt, fruit and brewed coffee.

Fab hotel next to the dinosaur museum and close to Colorado National Monument.

Fantastic location next to dinosaur museum, and visitor centre. Our room was huge with a sitting area and view if the mountains. There was a small funny shaped swimming pool (but it was adequate for kids )and hot tub Breakfast was the usual selection and buffet style. Staff were friendly.

All in all, it was a comfortable stay for a decent price.

The property was conveniently located right across the parking lot from the Starbucks and Jimmy John's, which proved to be super helpful. Also, they kept everything fairly clean throughout the entire stay.

There were some portions about the property that did seem a little rundown. Our third floor room had no screen on the entire window so that could be dangerous with little kids.

Disappointing, this one has gone downhill...

This is a great location I've stayed at a few times before. The dog exercise area is large and grassy, plus there's a dog park only a block away. Plenty of options for food, coffee, and gas.

Normally this property is great, however, this was the worst experience I've had at it. There was a mouse in my room which I discovered late at night when it decided to investigate the microwave and fridge cabinet. On arrival, my room was not ready and it took way too long for the desk associate to get me settled. This was despite providing my arrival time and there being no one else who needed assistance at the desk. Then, as I was finally in my room and taking care of business in the bathroom, a housekeeper waltzed right in without knocking. That'll teach me not to engage the deadbolt the second I walk in. The back lawn used to be green and fairly lush, now it's fading fast and that's a bit of a let down. My pup loves the grassy La Quinta's best, and I prefer to spend my money at those.

I had to switch rooms twice due to the jetted tub I got was broken and not working at all in 2 of the rooms. It was really irritating and inconvenient. As well as none of the rooms having any kind of freezer.
