It was ok.

Staff was friendly, room was clean.

I couldn't change the channel on the TV. I was too tired to call to gave them fix it. The waffle syrup was very strange tasting, and the coffee was a bit odd, maybe because local water was used and maybe they gave a lot of minerals in their water?

breakfast was good and location was close to the main roads. Gas stations and good restaurants were close by.

Hotel was in process of renovation. Therefore, rooms lacked any warmth and had strong smells of cleaning solutions.

The Manager and her friendly staff is what made the stay great!!

The manager and her staff were exceptionally nice to my son and his wife visiting from the Japan. Thank you to the manager for her kindness.

It was fine and served its purpose.

The breakfast wasn’t very good, We only ate there our first morning. The bed was very comfortable. It was nice having outlets on each side of the bed. The staff was very friendly - although one of them had her kids running around the lobby and outside barefoot and in a diaper late at night. The pool water temp was perfect.

The shower head was WAY too low. There were stains on the cushions and comforter. There was a lot of junk laying around the hotel in plain view. In the pool, one of the steps was broken and missing, making it difficult to exit the pool from the deep end. The shower mat was rotted / not complete.

Nothing it was nasty inside an out.

How nasty. The place was disgusting. These pictures posted are nothing like what the place really looks like. Weeds growed up, carpet stains everywhere, missing ceiling tiles missing, bulbs in hall light flashing. Its overall disgusting place .

Good value for the price. Comfortable and clean. This is obviously an older property and seems to be undergoing renovation piecemeal. So there's chipped paint, some carpet stains in the hallway, etc. The fixtures in our room were updated and everything worked as it ought to. The bed itself was quite comfortable. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Overnight stay for Popcorn Sutton festival

The bed was very comfortable. It was so nice to enjoy the outdoor pool. After a long day of activities to be able to relax in a spa tub in our room, it was awesome sauce. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was close to many attractions. Newport has a cute downtown.

The furniture outside the elevator was dirty and should bot be caught in an econolodge. The grounds needed to have a little TLC. There were a ton of weeds over taking the landscaping.

Never ever again !!

Location

Not clean!! Stains on walls , hair in bathtub and hair on commode and very dirty stained up cloth chairs !!! I was not comfortable and would not sleep under the sheets/cover and kept checking for insects. Bathroom was very outdated especially the tub/shower. Old food laying behind a very old beat up microwave and I think a small refrigerator. Never ever again!!! Very restless night from traveling from Florida and just wanted a shower and a little sleep before traveling home the following morning.Very run down hotel. The worse 100.00 I had ever spent for a hotel stay . I will say that they was on foul smells but the room was very outdated! Splattered and blotches of some kind of reddish stains on the walls . I wanted to get out of there!!! I did as soon as possible. I took a shower but wore my flip flops in tub and did not use a washcloth only the towel and it was briefly patting drying . I was miserable !! My anxiety was very intense!! I normally don’t give negative reviews but I don’t want anyone else to experience that negative experience.

Think Twice!

The front desk clerk was fabulous.

Breakfast was a packaged sausage biscuit. Ice machine…the one on our floor was out of order. The one downstairs was impossible to find. It was disgusting! It leaked and there were wet towels on the floor. It was filthy and looked like it was falling apart. I was afraid to use any of the ice for drinking. There has been a poor attempt to remodel the room. The shower faucet was basically the correct height for a five foot person. I literally had to kneel down under it to wash my hair. There was a nice new lighted mirror, however, only part of the lighting was operational. The old light fixture was still visible above it. It should have been sheet rocked over. There was NO sink stopper in the new bathroom sink. I was so afraid something would fall into the abyss that I could not retrieve. Bathroom caulking was awful. Let’s just say we needed a place to lay our heads on the way to our destination and this served the purpose for a very reasonable fee. That being said I would never stay here again.

Overall it was fine!!

It was very good!!

The bench in the room needs to be covered! The chair was so noisy, you couldn’t sit in it!! TV would only get 1 channel! Clerk brought new batteries but they didn’t help!! Really enjoyed the jacuzzi!! A little hard to get into and step was a trip hazard! We were only there to see relatives in the area! Weren’t in the room much so it really didn’t matter!

Truck broke down need a place to stay!

Overall, it was a decent stay, the room was clean, and the towels were new. It was quiet. I didn't really hear any other guests. The continental breakfast was good.

Hallway carpets are dirty and worn. Outside was neglected, and the parking lot was dirty. The pool was an eyesore. I don't know it they plan to open it but a cover would be an option.

Didn’t even stay , microwave caught fire and lady tried to blame what I put in it … it was a microwave dinner .

Nothing, very dirty and disgusting. Microwave caught fire and they just wanted to switch my room . Then tried to blame what I put In microwave ( microwave dinner ) after I demanded my money back so I could go to the best western up the street. I wouldn’t even put my worst enemy in that hotel.

Very PLEASANT, CLEAN, and FRIENDLY staff!!! Definitely would stay there again!!! :)

The location was perfect, the breakfast was decent, and the room was clean and very nice! We paid a little extra to get the King Suite with Jacuzzi tub...that was worth the extra money!!! :) Staff was very sweet and very helpful!!!

One thing...(this is not the only hotel that was designed this way) the AC/Heat unit is under the window curtain! Not a BIG DEAL; however, the fan needs to be adjusted for the curtain.

the motel is under new construction, and you can see why. Carpets were stained, building was run down. The proprieters were friendly and went out of their way to help. but seemed like a mom and pop operation. I interuppted their dinner. I guess it was okay for the price, but I wouldn't stay again. One of my pet peeves is only two bath towels available for two people. Many women also want one for their hair. The breakfast was minimal, but adequate

The whole place smelled so strongly of cheap motel cleaning chemicals (probably to cover up cigarette smoke smell) that we had headaches for several days afterwards.
