The bed was comfy amongst the construction. The pool and hot ton were open, which is more than most hotels that have them, but I did not use them this stay. Also did not have breakfast so I cannot speak to that either, but the price was and location were certainly great.

If I can give 0 star, I would. I don't usually take the time to write review for hotels because most of the hotels even though there are some good and some bad, at least all hotels have a basic standard of cleanliness. This hotel by far is the worst and dirties hotel we have ever stated in. Pro: The location of the hotel is good. It is about 8 minutes drive from Hope College. We are dropping our son off at the college, the location is good. it is near Walmart, Meijer, Target and a lot of restaurants. Con: It is the dirties hotel we have ever stayed in. First of all, the carpet is so dirty and wet. I cannot believe how dirty it is until I saw it made my clean socks black just by walking on the floor. I can feel the dampness on the carpet when I walk bear feet. When I stepped in the tub to shower, the water run through my feet was black. Also, the couch has a lot of wet stains I do not feel comfortable to sit on. During our stay, I heard the next door has a dog in the room. So I went and ask the front desk if the hotel separate pet friendly rooms from pet free rooms. The clark said "Oh, we cannot tell if your room had pet in it before or not because all of our rooms are pet friendly." I was so shocked to hear that because a couple of our children are allergic to pets hair. No wonder the carpet was so dirty and the chair has stains on it. That is not all. When we came back to the hotel the first night noticed no one has come to our room to clean while we were gone, I went to talk to the front desk thinking maybe the cleaner just simply forgot to clean our room that day, which will be ok with us because we know everyone forgets sometimes. But no, they said the hotel will not send cleaner daily, they only send in the cleaner after your third day of staying in the hotel. They don't ever come in to empty your trash. The clark doesn't even response to my complain or offer to exchange a cleaner room for us. He just simply didn't care, and he acts like he hate his job. We had stayed in many many hotels in our life including travelling around the world. It is the first hotel that doesn't has daily cleaning. If you say you don't change the towels daily which is a common practice of many hotels to be environmental friendly, that I can understand, but I have never heard a hotel only come to clean and tidy your room every three days. imagining how much trash you can accumulate in three days, no wonder the room is so dirty. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU HAVE A PET AND HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE FOR HOTEL.
