GrandStay Residential Suites Rapid City

I paid about $150 a night and got a suite with a FULL kitchen (stove, microwave, coffee maker, sink, dishwasher, full refrigerator, pots, plate ware, silverware) and a living room with a sofa bed with a separate bedroom. I didn’t ask for a suite, but turns out all their rooms are like this! I prefer separate sleeping quarters when I travel with others, especially with snorers lol. This worked out perfectly. I did not hear my mom snore, as my room was separated with a door. While bigger cities like DC and New York City skimp and save on their water by limiting the water pressure in their showers (and still charging you an arm and a leg), this hotel had full-on blast shower pressure! Breakfast was also included, which was a generous spread daily of eggs, meat option, waffle maker, bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt station, fresh fruit. It’s not gourmet food, but they are generous with the amount of options they provide. They also covered shuttle transportation to and from the airport! I’ve stayed at many hotels and I don’t recall receiving so many amenities from a hotel at this price. Staff was helpful and quick to respond to issues. Only complaint is the sofa bed mattress was so old and uncomfortable, you could feel the springs. They really need to replace it. Otherwise, highly recommend. Great location. A family of 4 would stay comfortably there. If you have a car, you can pick up groceries nearby and cook meals in the room to save some money.

Wonderful apartment style accommodation with great facilities. The staff were all very friendly and super helpful. The daily breakfast was totally awesome and the continual tea and coffee on offer was fantastic! Two small downfalls was the mattress was sagging the middle so we were rolling into each other and it is not close to many restaurants or convenience stores if you do not have your own transport. (We walked lots!)

Good location, close to shops and restaurants. Quiet nil issues, breakfast was not fully stocked or replenished during times. Recommend and will stay again!

Agoda advertised, and we booked, a suite with two queen beds + one sofa bed. Instead, we were disappointed to be booked in a room with one queen bed + one sofa bed. This was the second most expensive hotel in the area. It has some features of top quality hotels — nice decor and fixtures. But it also has features of poor hotels: Breakfast is very similar; cleanliness is less than thorough. We were disappointed that the pool and hot tub were not working during our cold spring trip.
