We really liked the location, it’s kinda secluded off the main drag but literally the mall, shops, restaurants are not even a min away. The staff was nice and welcoming, the breakfast was good and the pool was nice the water wasn’t cold all at due to all the windows allowing the sun in. Our room having a kitchenette was definitely invaluable since we have kids under 5. I can’t say enough pros about getting a room with a kitchenette as a parent just get one makes life easier away from home. Our bed was a king as described, comfortable, pillows were good. The bedroom having its own door for privacy was a surprise that came in really handy again with having little ones. The bathroom was large, clean, we had a shower/tub everything worked. The living area was fine couch tv and chair plus a desk and chair for paperwork or whatever so all in all a good room for the price, good place for the price.

Biggest thing about the place, it’s dated. No wifi in the rooms I dunno about the lobby, it’s just an older hotel. Our room had dvd players with the tvs and land line jacks in the walls and light stands, no usb ports here lol. The furniture was clean not stained up but very dated like early 2000s. The pool the same way, but hey it was clean and big enough for several families. Another thing is if you ran out of towels or toilet paper you have to get it from the front desk. The front desk did inform us of this up front guess short on help like everyone else is. Not a big deal but still annoying, and the place has only 1 elevator again it’s dated so if you want bells and whistles it’s not for you.

Great stay for the price!

The price, the unexpected amenities with the room - we weren't expecting the kitchenette or the living room. The tub was very nice too. The linens and curtains looked brand new. Breakfast was very nice. The lobby even has a large area with comfy chairs and lots of books on shelves. The logders are welcome to get comfortable and read a book. There's even a fireplace separating the library from the dining/ breakfast (but I didn't see it on.)

We had to hike back up to the front desk after going to the pool area to get the lights turned on. The staff turned them on, no problem, but it's the only thing I could think of that I didn't like!

Disappointing with little empathy

The location was ok

They did not have the room we requested and two adults ended up sleeping on a sleeper sofa! The kicker was the front desk told us this room was an upgrade. Maybe it had a kitchen, but is was not an upgrade based out our needs. A queen versus a double sofa sleeper?

It's a nice building and the pool was open but the hot tub was closed and was getting word on, the staff had a attitude when we checked in went to our room and the light in her room was like a strobe light so he went back downstairs to move rooms the lady at the counter was not happy very short and didn't even want to smile. So we went to the room then there's a big stain on the floor that's blue about 5 inches by 5 inches then there's a whole bunch of dirt still on the ground I like it never even been vacuumed there was coffee spilled in the drawers for the silverware was. The way I was great on the rooms but I really didn't look like it was cleaned. The food was great and I like how I don't just have it from 6:00 they kept it out till till 10:00 sometimes when we left. Much that was a big plus.

I didn't like how it was not cleaning it seemed like it needed to be vacuumed in the kitchen was not clean, also the hot tub was not fixed and our room light in the middle of the kitchen was like a strobe light it would not stop that we had to go downstairs to ask to switch rooms or get the light fixed.

Our cork-in clerk on Friday evening was pleasant and helpful. Towels were clean.

The whole hotel is rundown and tired-looking. We experienced chipped paint, scuffed doors, room windows that wouldn't open or stay open, chipped bathroom tiles, stained shower. Our bathroom had someone's long hairs left on the floor, grubby corners. The beds had old mattresses that sloped toward the nightstand (mattresses could at least be rotated). The whole place just had an air of apathy.

Property looks fine from the outside. The front desk was rude while I tried to be nice. For example I politely asked what floor we were on after she gave us our room key(because she didn’t) and she looked at me weird so I said is it on the second floor because of the two for 229? And she still didn’t say anything while looking directly at me and said we’ve stayed in hotels where the number doesn’t stand for the floor and finally she said it’s the second floor. Not yes ma’am or nothing. She was just rude. The rooms are EXTREMELY dirty. And outdated which doesn’t help the dirtiness. One of our towels had a streak of what looked like poop, and after my already bad encounter at reception we didn’t want to continue to bother her. So we just let it fall off the rail and pushed it under the sink. My husband swears he saw blood on the ceiling. The mattresses curved down on the edges. So it constantly felt like you were falling off.

I have stayed at this property numerous times while traveling for work. It has become my "go-to" pick when I'm in this area of Louisville. Through Booking I always get a great rate. The property is always clean and the staff is friendly. The breakfast is good. The location is good. I have zero complaints about this property which is why I'll be leaving that next box empty! 10/10 would recommend!!!

I liked the breakfast provided. Most of the staff was friendly. Room was clean although could use some updating.

The jacuzzi was listed in several locations on the website as an amenity but was closed. According to a staff member, the amenity has been closed for two years but it was still listed as available. It was a selling point as to why I booked the hotel. We were very disappointed that after a 12 hour drive, could not take advantage of this.

Something was making a noise like machine or AC unit that was coming from a different room and was pretty loud and was cutting off and on every 10 to 20 minutes and lasting that long. It was annoying and made hard to fall asleep. There were no electrical outlets on the nightstands.
