The bed was very comfortable and the linens and towels were good quality. Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable and had a great view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The gardens and grounds were beautiful. The pool and hot tub were fabulous. The complimentary tea/coffee and daily home-baked cookies/pastries that were available in the lobby.

There were no room safes. The keys are insecure as they have the room number on them. Also, the key was difficult to operate in the lock. Why are card entry locks not used? The pool chairs have no umbrellas to make shade. Also there are no cushions for any of the lawn chairs, which makes them uncomfortable to use. The wooden grey steps leading down from the main Inn building to the pool are difficult to safely navigate due to the lack of step edge definition with a contrasting color or texture to differentiate step changes.

Beautiful property, large spacious rooms, spectacular views.

The primary reason for choosing this property was the infinity pool. The pool was extraordinary in design but it was very cold. We asked the staff twice about it and they insisted it was heated to 78-80 degrees, but I and all of the other guests we watched attempt to dive into the frigid waters can attest it was too cold to actually swim in. We paid a lot more to stay at this inn than many others in the area specifically because of the pool, like I assume many do, and it was a shame that it was unusable. Unfortunately the staff showed no empathy when I pointed out to them their heater might not be working and more insisted that I was wrong.
