Disappointed with facility

Staff was friendly and attempted to be helpful. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and Emma and her fellow Co-workers were very friendly and very helpful. We also enjoyed dinner one evening at the pub on site.

The first room we were in was almost 80°and wouldn't cool down. The front desk moved us to a new room and that room was freezing at 59° and we did not have any heat. We were also disappointed that the pool and hot tub were closed.

Didn't know remodel was going on. Had to go through construction to get to the pool. Fireworks were being shot off just below our room. Daughter has ear problem cried much of the night. No security made any effort to stop the explosions.

Did not know about the ongoing renovations and we could not access some of the amenities. We were not the only guests to inquire about the issues with the renovations. One amenity no one could access was the laundry room and the only laundrymat in town closed at 8pm. The hotel should have put a notice on the booking sites stating the hotel renovations and informed guests of what amenities could not be used. Front desk staff was awesome very nice. View was great and location was centralized.

It will be better when they have finished remodeling Our room still had the old carpeting and a very noisy refrigerator. But many other aspects had been updated. You could tell that they were in process

Disappointed

The hotel is under construction and we were not made aware of that. Loose wires, walk in to construction in main lobby, no where to sit but one bench, construction and loose wires everywhere, short staff, construction all the way to the pool. No chairs on balcony. Kept up most of night by room above us because it sounded like 10 people up there jumping around when only two people there. I know that because i asked front desk staff. Very loud, no sound protection. I have pictures of it all. Bookit.com did not make you aware of any construction going on.

The location and the beds are comfortable. Personal was nice. Breakfast is always good.

Their system over booked rooms. We didnt get the room we reserved with full water view. The room we ended up across from the stair well so kids yelling and running started at 6:00am. I know that’s not the hotels fault. I will make sure we never get another room in that area. The lighting in our bathroom was really dark. The vanity light had been removed. This is our third time staying this is the first time we have had any complaints. We will continue to book there. Our daughter lives there we come about once every three months.

Under renovation.

The location and the rooms are nice.

The hotel is under renovation and the halls are ripped up. I was very disappointed that the pool was closed. This may not be a big deal to some but I don't have a lot of money so when I take my family somewhere I make sure to book a hotel an indoor pool so my son can go swimming. It's always his favorite part of going anywhere.

The view was nice.

The hallway carpets were disgustingly stained. No shampoo, conditioner, or lotion in dispensers. Coffee maker broken. Air conditioning didn't work, over 80 degrees in room. The grounds looked like no one worked there. Weeds growing thru the sidewalks and patio, grass was brown. Garbage cans overflowing.

It was good for the most part

Our room had a dirty wet towel on the floor right when we walked in. The shower ran all over the floor. It was a handicap room. The hallway toward the resteraunt was super sticky. I mean it left residue on my shoe for the weekend.
