The staff was very kind and they made a great breakfast in the morning. The hot tub was also nice and the location was super convenient.
The shared bathroom isn’t ideal but obviously we knew that was the case while booking!

The breakfast was good, the location was central and on the main strip. The place is old and pretty cute since it's an ancient building. The hot tub was a nice touch and refreshing after a day on the mountain.
This was a weird one. Me and my partner took an impromptu trip for a snowstorm up to frisco. We called in advance and asked if they would be able to accommodate our dog as an ESA (emotional support animal) which we have done with other places before and have the paperwork for. We were told on the phone if we had the paperwork it would be okay so we booked. On arrival, we showed the paperwork but they didn't really seem okay with the idea and she said he would ask the owner.
We then later talked to the owner who assured us this time it was okay, but to not do it again because allergies can affect other guests. This was confusing also because we did see a small black dog (probably the owners or employees) in the dining area right before the owner talked to us. If this is true, why was there a different dog in the dining room? Rules for thee not for me I suppose. There was definitely some miscommunication, but we did our due diligence by calling ahead of time.
On the last day, we were about to leave and we were told dogs weren't allowed by a new lady we we never saw before after staying 2 nights without issue. I told her of our conversation with the owner and she still wasn't trying to let us in just to pack up the car. She then tried to say there was a $200 fee for animals which were not mentioned by the owner or during check in.
After the fact, we were charged a $50 cleaning fee despite making sure the room was in good shape before we left. I found this funny because we found a hairbrush on the ground on arrival to our room near the bed, so I'm not sure how good they are cleaning the rooms between stays. I assume this charge was because of the dog, but this is a really poor way to handle the situation by charging us after the fact and providing no evidence or letting us know. The hidden "fee" is kind of shady here. No message, just a bill. We would've gladly paid a pet fee if they had asked, but just auto charging us after is wrong.

There isn’t really anything we didn’t like about our stay or anything there

Dorcus was the sweetest very welcoming and accommodating. It’s a quaint little bed and breakfast with happy hour and they serve breakfast in the morning. The rooms were clean and nice.
The mattress in the bedroom was uncomfortable to sleep on.

Felt like a home away from home. The staff was behind fantastic and location was great! Delicious breakfast and nice hot tub. They made my husbands birthday special!
The beds could be more comfortable

Really charming. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast and afternoon appetizers, great location right in the middle of town.

Breakfast was a disaster. Instead of the advertised gourmet breakfast filling the plate, I received one sausage link, an egg dish which was 1 inch by 1 inch and a tablespoon of hash browns. The coffee was empty. The breakfast went from 7:30 to 9:30. I as there at 8:00

It was like stepping back in time! The decor was fun! The bed was comfy, the shower was modern. And the little extra touches like bathrobes and dishes were nice. We loved watching a DVD in the room! The happy hour was awesome! and the breakfast--eggs benedict and latte's, I mean WOW! Visiting with the other guests in the dining room added to the charm. And you cannot beat the location! Right in the heart of the fabulous town! We loved it!
No A/C but the fan was great! and having a window that actually opened kept the room cool at night.

Breakfast was delicious homemade fritata, Belgian waffles, sausage, along with espressos, capuccinos and hot chocolate. There was yogurt with fruit, granola, bread, toast and jams, cold and hot cereals, biscotti for with coffee and tea, and juice and milk. Everything was served with a smile.
Unfortunately, our plans didn't include being able to join the lodge's afternoon happy hour snacks/drinks.

Great breakfast offerings! They served a hot breakfast as well as provided a nice spread of cold options including juices, toast, fruits and yogurts. etc. Nice to be served by the friendly wait staff each morning!

The property is in an amazing location. You really can’t beat it. The room was cute. A little dated, but it added to the charm. There was a bathroom in the room, thankfully, which we were very unclear about prior to checking in, because there seems to be conflicting information. There is also breakfast available in the main lodge.
We were charged an extra $66 when we checked in. We had already paid for our room in full, and we had disclosed that it would be two adults and two children under the age of 11, when we booked a room with an occupancy of 4. However, the owner said that because I was bringing my two children, there would be an extra $30 charge for each. She claimed that because they sleep in a bed and eat her breakfast, they needed to be charged as adults. Please be very cautious of this when you’re booking at this location. The amenities that are listed on the booking seem amazing, but paying 66 extra dollars for my kids to share a waffle (the staff cut one in half so they could each get a piece) and a sausage link was not the extra expense we were looking for.

I loved the charm of a historic hotel.
Afternoon wine/snacks & breakfast were Excellent. The food offerings for both was quite exceptional. It was fun getting to know other guests. I highly recommend.
Shared bath room/shower. I only stayed one night so I didn’t use the shower. Overall there were no issues accessing the bathroom.

Staff and food were great, breakfast was very nice, happy hour seemed to be a very nice spread of food etc, the place is cute and the rooms ok but a bit pricy for what you get. Great location.
The bed was too hard and squeaked. Fan in bathroom was too loud, needs to be replaced, although a historical landmark, for me the furnishing was less than desirable.

Wonderful staff, great location, beautiful rooms, best breakfast ever, nice hot tub/relaxing area, and easy checkout.
Parking was difficult but that was due to city roadwork not the lodge. Staff immediately accommodated us

This hotel is right in the center of the village. But once inside, it feels like you're in a cabin high up on the mountain. It is very cosy. The staff is also very friendly, and the breakfast is delicious. In addition, from 4:30 to 6:00 pm they offer complimentary soup, cheese, fruit and wine. Which is appreciated after having been skiing all day. Also, that's a good time to interact with other guests. From Frisco, you have several ski resorts within a 20-minute drive. Recommended hotel.
Our room was a bit small, and being a family of 4, we were a bit cramped as there was little space to put our suitcases. The beds, despite being comfortable, have too many covers. A single duvet would be enough.

Great spot right in Frisco, two blocks from the Summit County stage bus. AMAZING made-to-order breakfast and the (free!) happy hour drinks and snacks was such a great bonus!
A little loud if your neighbors are rowdy. (It's an older building so that is prob. to be expected)

I’ve always loved the property I’ve gazed at it for years, looked in its windows, and just imagined what it would be like to stay there. I wasn’t disappointed, I’m glad to say. The commaradity of my fellow skiers at breakfast in the morning and in the happy hour at night. Well done
