Baymont by Wyndham Port Arthur - Groves Area

Comfortable well equipped room, friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent with a range of options.

Nothing really, it isn't glamorous but it's good for a one night stopover.

This is the best hotel in Port Arthur, and we've stayed everywhere! Elizabeth Jackson runs a wonderful establishment whose collective goal is to give her customers the best travel experience possible. The staff goes out of their way to ensure that we have everything we need when we check in. One thing I've noticed through the times we have stayed there is the camaraderie of the employees. Every member of the staff is ALWAYS pleasant to their fellow workers, and they pitch in to help each other when needed. Everyone in the entire hotel seems so happy in their jobs - and in this day and time, that is rare.

OK - kind of low on food but asst came and refreshed

the toilet was way too close to the floor - very difficult, I had to go use the lobby bathroom. Room toilet was way too low and too difficult for me.

Pet Friendly, good parking, had two beds as what was needed

Was assigned a room that seemed like under repair (bathroom). There were still some parts left in the bathroom. They accidentally reassigned another customer in the same room. Already half sleep when someone tried going in the room. Did escort the other customer to the front desk. Breakfast was not good, eggs and sausage were half cooked. It was a decent stay.
