Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort

This location was top tier, even though it was about 35min drive to the Zion visitors centre, driving through the park each morning couldn't be more stunning and you also avoid the big que of cars coming from Springdale. Our Glamping tent was perfect for two friends, a bit of a walk to toilets and fresh water but private and clean overall with parking right in front. The pool was awesome!

For other folks coming from out of town with a hire car it's good to note that there are no shared kitchen facilities, we found it a bit challenging not to have access to a fridge whilst glamping for a week. The restaurant on site was a good backup option but not the best.

The property has a lot of potential to host in an accommodating and welcoming spirit. When making management aware of concerns they were apologetic.

Upon arrival, the unit was frigid, bathroom window was open and was not swept clean. We figured out how to start the two baseboard heaters that struggled to warm up the space. We boosted the speed by running the hairdryer on high. No blankets on the bed in the unit, making the cold that much more pronounced- only a sheet and thin coverlet. Shower head had buildup, bathroom floor had droppings. Front porch trash of unit was overflowing with full bags of garbage piled up. Sadly, someone’s manicure must have been ruined because their white fake nail was on the threshold.
