Not as it seems

The location was good. The staff was friendly

The smell in the lobby was of cooked food, the pillows on a king size bed was 3 small squares. The ac was not central air and the thing rattled throughout the night. I'm sure it was cleaned but didn't feel clean. It is dated. The pictures on the site are not what you get. Very disappointing.

Quick check in and out.

Common area was NEVER open. Morning afternoon or evening. No coffee, snacks or other amenities available. Not sure why the front area was locked up all day and night. Disappointing.

The only redeeming factor was an awesome restaurant across the street called "The Corner Grill and Bakery"!

Room was filthy, the smoke detector was missing from the ceiling mount, the TV was a sheet of blue, the a/c noise from other rooms drowned out the freeway traffic noise, the front office was closed by 4:00 p.m., the motel shared a parking lot with a convenience store and homeless people.

Dirty as hell. Black hair all over: in the bathroom, the refrigerator, on the AC. Food on the floor. Stained towels. Just nasty. Couldn't do it.

Cheap hotel but could use upgrade

Staff tried to be helpful. Price was good.

There were several items. First, the room is seriously lacking: no carpet, no clock, no tissues. . I had to ask for soap. Due to close proximity to freeway, there was constant road noise all night. I was concerned about safety of my car as the parking lot shares with a massage parlor and a liquor store. Too many loiterers. A note, the car was not bothered, to be fair.

We were happy with the price and cleanliness of the room.

We were greeted warmly by staff and were able to check in early. Very happy with the cleanliness of our room and cleaning service the next day.

My side of the bed was very comfortable but my husband’s side was not. The hotel was full and the other occupants were a little loud.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The rooms were ready when we arrived based on the time we requested. The location was perfect for us.

Claremont Lodge

I chose this hotel because it was only 2 blocks from my son's house.

They're very friendly. It's a fine place to stay if you're not planning to stick around through the day, the pool is very small, the mattresses are very firm. We could hear the traffic and neighbors through the night. We had an issue with the tub draining while we were showering our first night. We brought it to the owners' attention and it was fixed by the time we returned. I'd stay there again.

The gentleman who was working the office was very helpful and friendly.

It felt unsafe. Lots of people loitering around the parking lot. Very noisy, whether it be music coming from a nearby room or from cars in the parking lot. Some drama between people in the walkways/hallways. Felt like a place you would rent by the hour. I would never stay there again.

Nice little motel that's been updated. Can get a little noisy but it's a motel so... overall clean, safe place with pretty much anything you need near by. I'd skip the Thai restaurant next to it. Probably the worst Thai food I've ever had.
