We were amazed with the staff, room location and the breakfast. The restaurant upstairs Jimmy's was the worst. The time we went up to try it they said they are only serving drinks.

My family and I spent one night in Clearwater before moving our daughter into college. It was so incredibly cold and windy! We were nice and comfy inside our room though! Jimmy's, unfortunately was closed due to high winds and temps but we were able to walk around to bars and restaurants nearby. Beach views were fun to see such waves and sideways palm trees blowing. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was fair, and nice to have some yogurt and coffee. I will stay here again.

Unfortunately, I was misled by attractive online photos when choosing Pier 60 Marina Hotel. The property is outdated, with a pervasive musty smell. Additionally, there was an unexpected $40 daily amenities charge covering facilities like the gym, which unfortunately featured rusty and broken equipment. The breakfast experience was also disappointing, marred by poor quality food and unfriendly staff. The sole redeeming feature was the helpful evening reception staff, who kindly recommended dinner spots. Despite its favorable location, the hotel's pricing is on par with far superior options like the Hilton, Marriott Residence, and Ramada, all of which offer better amenities and more welcoming staff in the same area. I won't be returning to this hotel and hope this review helps others in their decision-making.
