Disappointed and disgusted

Location was excellent.

Our room had termites crawling on the bed. It was disgusting. Had to request a room change. However it was late and there was no rooms available. The night staff tried his best to find a room at one of their other hotels and explained they swarmed this time of year. He was accommodating. In the end he did come in and change the sheets and sprayed while we were out at show as my husband said he was too tired to change hotels that late and then have to move back the next day. I ended up sleeping with my daughter at her hotel down the road. The next day we were given another room but was told by the morning receptionist that we were not guaranteed to not have termites as it was an old hotel. She was very adamant about this. I am sorry, but paying a premium rate to have at least twenty bugs crawling over your pillows should be guaranteed NOT to happen even if the building is old and made of wood.

Overall a very nice stay.

The location was within walking distance to the all the sights within Key West. The staff had good recommendations for leaving the car that saved us a lot of time. The roosters were loud the first night but we got used to them.

The room was a little musty, but it is damp due to the humidity.

Nice Location Just Not Comfortable Stay

location, location and front desk and bar staff friendly and helpful with suggestions what to see and visit in Key West.

Being over 65 - no chair in room or by pool comfortable or easy to get up from. I heard this same input by other visitors younger than me around the pool. Armoire in room to hang clothes too high my husband is 5'10" he said too high for him too. Had to ask repeatedly for towels and housekeeping to make bed, etc. not consistent during our week stay.

In the thick of it all

Quaint and charming right in the center of it all. Comfortable beds good showers lovely pool and nice breakfast. It’s in a resort town so expect resort prices. Nice staff, parking available for a fee. Watch out for waffle stealing chickens.

The service staff, eg house keeping, cafe, and grounds staff were exceptional. The location was great!

The front desk staff were oddly rude and condescending. The upkeep on the maintenance of the property was sub par.. we had a leak in one room and a hole in the floor in another. They charged premium rates for parking and were inflexible on check out times even after having us change rooms for the water leak.

Location, location, location :)

We (2 people) booked for 3 nights, it is a very nice place in great location, but the room is not really comfortable - it is small, has no chair& desk inside, nor outsid sitting area, there is no place to hang your swimsuit to dry (in fact, no place to unpack your stuff, luckily we traveled only with one carry on luggage, a bigger suitcase would not even fit between wall and bed). AC is loud (so loud you cannot really sleep, we needed eventually to switch it off and only used fan...) The bathroom is separated from the main part of the room by a wall that doesn't go to the ceiling, it gives you some degree of privacy but person in the room can hear every noise from the bathroom area (it is far from comfortable, and I guess originally it is/ was a 1 person room). Probably pricier rooms have better facilities, but still the room was not that cheap (with Genius discount on Booking it was 370 USD per night with tax) and I was surprised that it is so uncomfortable. Other than that - breakfast is OK, friendly staff and great location.

The Nouse from the A/C unit was excessive, unbearable There was a hotel facility charge of circa US$50. I’m really not sure what this was for. The only parking available to us was on the road at a cost of US$7 per hour between 8 am to midnight !!!

A very pleasant boutique hotel.

Staff at Isabel’s were fantastic, went out of their way to accommodate all guests. Pool area was well managed and clean. Hotel is a haven in Old Town and relatively quiet. My room was the largest at almost 80 square meters, very spacious and comfortable.

There was a small leak from the roof during heavy rain.

Comfortable garden oasis

The elegance of every sitting area, room, the lobby smelled incredible. The beauty of the plants, the secluded garden areas. The comfortable seating at the pool and garden areas. The view of the lighthouse. The bed was perfect. Soft sheets. Perfect pillows. Clean bathroom . Every staff member was kind, friendly and informative! The drinks and food was delicious. The fence around the property quieted the street noise and I felt like I stepped into a private garden oasis.

Great choice in the heart of Key West.

The location is unbeatable – just steps from Duval Street, directly across from the Hemingway House and Lighthouse. It’s also within walking distance to South Beach, the Southernmost Point, and great sunset spots. I really enjoyed the breakfast and the overall cozy boutique vibe of the hotel. There are three parking options, two of which are free, though you’ll need a bit of luck to find an open spot.

A/C was noisy. In-house bike rent would be a nice upgrade.

Our day at the lighthouse Hotel felt luxurious, but also with a cozy feel.

The entire property was extremely clean and very well decorated. The pool is so cute and the little bistro/bar right at it is gorgeous. All the staff was extremely friendly.

There were no complaints about the property! We genuinely enjoyed the whole property
