First time staying here. It was a unique motel experience with cute rooms. It felt quiet even though it's right off the highway. The Retro Inn had a lot of nice amenities for the price. I would stay here again!
The curtains in my room did not perfectly block out the floodlights at night, so some light crept in.

So cute! The Retro theme was so cute and nostalgic, you get an actual key for your room and park right in front of your door. They had a game room with a pool table and foosball, swings outside and the view was beautiful. This room was also the cheapest price I paid for a room for my entire week out west and was one of the best! Cortez is a small town too, easy to get around and find stuff.

We stayed in the John Wayne room and that was really cool! My boys got a kick out of it and it was really well maintained
Not much to do in Cortez and everything closes early. But no complaints about the motel!

it was easy to get our cases into the room no stairs to deal with. breakfast was basic but things like the water for tea was hot which I appreciated. The place to eat was quite cute. Room was a good size.
we did not stay that long, we got there late and left in the morning, we cut the trip short when we decided to go to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, so we did not stay long enough to rate anything else.
