The Sayre Mansion

As experienced and mature Harley-Davidson motorcycle riding enthusiasts we honestly don't always feel welcome at some establishments. However during our 4 day stay at the Sayer Mansion we felt so welcomed and felt the employees truly were interested in our story as well as our adventures on a daily basis. The Mansion and the grounds itself is beautiful and so wonderfully preserved in its Victorian state. We were welcome to explore all public areas of the mansion.The room was large clean absolutely amazing! Breakfast in the dining room every morning was delicious made just for you including homemade bread and pastries. There are also freshly made cookies and snacks along with coffee tea and hot chocolate available in the parlor all day and night.

I honestly thought it would be more convenient if they were coasters in the rooms. For things like drinks or coffee that you may bring back to the room. Especially since a lot of the furniture is vintage or older.

The driveway in was tiny and easy to miss for out of towners

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was convenient to the highway and local restaurants and shops. They are pet friendly.

The EV charger doesn't work, which was one reason I booked the property (pet friendly the other...). The room was very uncomfortable - small, uncomfortable, tight quarters. The room was hot and the AC made a loud noise from its fan. The outside lights were very bright and could not be controlled with the blinds. I was kind of ignored at breakfast service.
