The setting, cottage and service was exceptional. We decided to stay a second night. The property is absolutely delightful and staff were more than accommodating.
The restaurant on site was a nice bonus. Breakfast was basic but service was fabulous.

The grounds are beautifully maintained. The property as a whole is lovely
The general cleanliness could be stepped up a bit and maintenance on the property also. Understandably with the age of the property maintenance would be a very big job however the plumbing requires some work. Along with general maintenance.

The staff was great and grounds are beautiful.
We have stayed at the Monmouth on multiple occasions and always have been pleased with our rooms. The room that we was in this time was over the office and wasn’t very nice at all compared to the rooms we have stayed in the past.
