Easy check in, nice room. Great view. New menu downstairs, best we had was there. Rented a cabana. The pool attendant Danny was great! Two free my ties come with your check in. Nice touch.
They were vacuuming the hallway floor outside my room at 4:30 a.m.
We thought the kids fool was a hot tub. It would be so much better if the hotel had a hot tub.

Location, mai tai bar downstairs, beautiful view
Major security concerns. All balconies are connected. Had other guest jumping onto my balcony and hiding in the dark. No lights on the balcony.

We loved EVERYTHING! I would give this 15 stars. It felt authentic to me. the pool was just enough and beautiful - the luau was just enough and beautiful - also the dancers were wonderful and the musicians - so much fun! The food was delicious, the views and the ocean - we saw whales from the pool and our breakfast table. The property is so beautiful and well taken care of. It was a treat to get to see the caretakers working they are so meticulous. We walked to a few places off property and the proximity was perfection. We will be back soon, Mahalo <3
That we only had one night. It was such a lovely stay we will be back and sharing our new favorite find with our loved ones. We cannot wait to be back and wish you and your staff well! Thank you <3

The room was quiet enough for us, although we did requested a queen bed we had a room with two twin beds. The view was if the parking lot and that didn't bother us as just going outside the grounds were great!
Microwave would be nice and a discount for "local residents" who drive long distances to get from Kailua Kona from Kau.
Parking was limited and maybe a little big parking spots that accommodate trucks/larger vehicles. Better handicap parking stalls that are not on a curve these makes parking very difficult.

The parking was a bit too tight.

I like the ocean/sunset view room by the lagoon tower. The Mai Tai resto bar is also one of our favorites spot to hang out. We also love how it's very convenient and accessible to shops, cafes, resto and bars outside the resort. Just a few steps away from the property.
One of the front desk agents name Maria was not accommodating when we were requesting to transfer to a room that with two beds that was booked originally. She didn't respond well to our needs as guests.

Loud reception at night. Could also hear bands at nearby bar. Bring your ear plugs!

The room was fine but walking to get there with nothing to help haul luggage was challenging. Parking was pretty far from the building
No easy access to luggage carts. Getting hostess attention to get on the wait list for breakfast. We gave up and left after no acknowledgement for 10 minutes and we had no way of knowing how long the wait would be.

Hotel is about 20mins drive from the airport. We were given the ocean view room. The room comes with a balcony and the view is great. Room is spacious and comes with a sofa. The hotel block is under renovation and it looks kind of empty and dark from the corridor. There are lots of restaurants near the hotel. Lots of parking spaces if you are driving
Will be great if the room comes with breakfast.

Some of the rooms are fabulous. Same with some of the bartenders/wait staff & people that work at the front desk. It’s right on the ocean.
Some of the rooms are not very good, usually because of noise.

Great location. Great swimming lagoon. Very nice front desk staff.
Our room was very outdated. “Enhanced internet” (included in your resort fee!) was a joke. The room to get ice was filthy. Having to pay 25.00 per day for parking. Overpriced for the facilities.

Check-in person Marianne was patient and efficient in filling our need for 2 rooms with varied characteristics. Security professionally provided wheelchair assistance.
Received free vouchers for complimentary bar drinks. The vouchers didn't have the bar's hours printed on them. By 10 pm, the bar was closed..Disappointing.

Location is prime and clean. The staff friendly and helpful.
No microwave in room or anywhere for guests to use. There are no laundry facilities on site for guests to use. Guest are charged a good amount of money nightly for a room but then you are charged a stiff price on top of that for parking on grounds each day of your stay and also charged a stiff fee per day marked as a hotel fee, not a tax, just a facility fee. Most everything is dated , seems very little money is put back into the facility to modernize.

Beds too small. Replace full size w queens. Open more bath rooms or a cleaner changing room by pool to use before room available

The location of this resort is what made our honeymoon spectacular. From the private lagoon to walking distance of town life.
The bed was a little uncomfortable and the construction made it difficult to do laundry

Amazing location right on the water and super close to restaurants, art galleries, and interesting, historic sites. Our room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was good and not too expensive and on a patio with a gorgeous view.
The toiletries in the room were a bit sparse--no conditioner!

The staff was extremely friendly, the resort has several awesome features. The room was nice, with a great view of the ocean. The restaurant attached to the resort, has fantastic food.

That its right by the beach
Some staff (pool & bar) were snappy about the rules and not having courtesy that its the first time coming to this place.
Balcony didn't have the dividers on either side like the rest of the other balconies.
No designated signes or ropes to divide the bar area, making it confusing not just for me but everyone there that a table cant be grabbed on your own.
Some areas are closed for paying customers even though its part of the hotel. There are different routes that lead you anywhere which makes it be like a maze.
It does look like a motel 6 lay out in the rooms, only thing that differs it is the balcony.

Hotel is very old. The hotel is under construction. We stayed in the non construction area side. Our room furniture waa very old and out dated the room had a musky smell. Day 2 me and my son got stuck in the hotel elevator for an hour. This was very traumatizing for us. I refused to get back in the elevator so the manager moved us to another room on the ground floor with one king bed and a roll away bed the room was so crowded and uncomfortable. This was a down grade for us because we had a double bed room at first. But the Manager claimed this was the only available room on the ground floor. The room smelled old and damp. The room was located next to a walkway so my 1 year old could not sleep. The bathroom tub kept clogging up.
I would not stay at this hotel again.
