Best value in Lauderdale by the sea area. It's an older place, but they keep it clean.
Publix right across the street so you can get groceries and use the kitchenette in your room. Otherwise it's a 15 minute walk to happy hour at Harrat's by the Sea for $5 cocktails and $2.50 draft specials (4-7 pm). Sushi place next to Publix has half price 4-6 pm Mon-Thu.
Beach also right across the other street with easy access.
They provide community chairs and umbrellas, but don't expect them to be brand new.
Don't panic if you see bug here or there, your in Florida at the beach...
Doors are coded, so if you arrive later when the manager is done for the day, you can text them and they will respond with your code so you can get in the room.
Make sure to get your pool/beach towels early, cause there is no staff in the evenings.
