    The hotel is going through a remodeling. I was not informed of this during my booking. At check-in, the staff apologized that the pool will not be accessible. They forgot to mention that we will be waking up at 7am by jack hammer work on the room next door... on a Sunday :( I asked to be contacted by the manager during check-out. But so far, not a word :(

    This place is advertised really well. But it just isn't quite a hotel. There is no actual restaurant. Only a counter/grab and go area with some drinks and a food menu. But I was unsure where the food came from. It also took a long time for my breakfast burrito to get to me and I was the ONLY one there. The pool seemed fine. The weekends there is a dj and the bar outside is only open for a short period of time. There was no staff cleaning up after all of the gross guests that left their trash all over. Even HOURS after the bar closed and the dj left, looked out of my window and all I saw was trash everywhere. The lounge chairs were all sunken in and certainly need to be replaced. BUT!!!... THAT WAS NOT THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY STAY! Upon arrival to my room... The toilet was already clogged with someone else's DOing. If you know what I mean. It sucked because Check In was at 4pm and even though the hotel seemed very... vacant... they were unable to accommodate an early check in. So checking in at 4pm, I was already running late for a big dinner event and I didn't have time to switch rooms. So I got ready quickly and went on my way. Leaving information with the staff to fix the toilet. There was also nail clippings on the bathroom floor. Which is also GROSS AF! So whoever the housekeeping staff is... is not doing a proper job cleaning these rooms. I got back to my room after dinner and a night out at around 230am. THE TOILET WAS STILL CLOGGED. I have a video of this. Just too nasty to post on here. you're welcome for saving you from that. I immediately called the front desk (from my own phone since there was no phone in the room, not sure if that's just how things are now a days.)They informed me that they had no maintenance staff on (understandable, it was the middle of the night.) and that someone would be by in the morning by 10am to fix it. So morning comes and yes, maintenance comes, spends about 20 minutes unclogging the toilet apologizes and then leaves. I go into the bathroom... there is splashes all over the toilet seat and floor... so I spent the next 15 minutes cleaning that up. Gross again. Anyway. I was only there 2 nights and this was the last night of my stay so I just trucked along listening to the construction going on across from the pool and checked out the next morning. DO NOT RECOMMEND

    No where was it mentioned that tha hotel and grounds are going through a massive renovation, no lobby no pool surroundings , although the pool was open the concrete around it was broken up , no soap or shampoo in the shower
