    The hotel has amazing character. The staff is very attentive and supportive of a nice, relaxing holiday. So nice to be right on the ocean and hear the waves outside our room.

    Upon arrival our host, Bashere, was very pleasant at check in. Fortunately a room opened up with a beautiful ocean view. My wife has been coming to this hotel for over 40 years since she was a child. It’s obviously an older place, but has been updated over the years…. Unless you are looking for state of the art accommodations, this would work great. Especially for families.

    A special place, incredible location on the beach, very good staff- all so attentive, friendly and helpful, comfortable rooms- quite spacious, and good value compared to nearby options, parking is free and they have a simple yet filling continental breakfast.

    Beach location excellent. Quiet. Main lobby/breakfast area very nice. Room a bit disappointing. Given internet photos, expected better. More like Motel 6. Overall, given the Laguna Beach location on the water, good value if you look for discounts.
