    Let me start this review by saying the staff was seriously so kind and very nice to talk with. It’s not their fault that the owners catfish people. The pics online are NOTHING like the rooms there. We had the suite on the 3rd floor and it was worse then my mothers first apartment in NYC in the 70’s. I could bathe my 2 year old Olin the tub because when i turned the water in, mold came out of the faucet. The bedroom tv was on a nightstand that sat lower than the height of the bed so we could barely see it and the whole space was at a 45 degree angle. The wall paper was peeling off the walls and not all of the blinds in the bedroom went down. I know old New England Charm. I’m from New England. The point of us staying there was to get that feeling of being home before getting home after our first family road trip through Canada. I couldn’t wait to leave early the next morning and get back in a car I’d spent the last 7 days in.

    When I visit my family, I always stay at the Thayer Inn. The nostalgic decor combined with modern comforts make for a great experience. The location is convenient and centrally located.

    Went for a ski trip. Pros: Free breakfast, clean, and in a good location. Cons: Small room without a lot of storage. Parking can be limited in the back.

    Excellent location in the white mountains. Right above a cocktail and small plates bar and walkable distance from Schilling brewery which was fantastic. Staff was friendly but we didn't have much contact. We were in the Pat Buchanan room, which was kind of comical. Some feedback: we were given a room right on the street on the first floor. Tons of street noise - including cars going by overnight, enough to disturb a light sleeper. Everything in the room had a light layer of dust.
