Our unit didn't look like the pictures (but that is stated). The unit we were in either wasn't well cleaned or hadn't been stayed in for a very long time. There were cobwebs all over. My boyfriend went to wipe some off and it pulled down almost a whole foot connecting to the ceiling. The fridge also didn't work well and smelled terrible so we didn't put anything in it. Unfortunate because we went to the grocery store before coming here so the refrigerated food was wasted. The front door lock was very loose and made us feel a little bit uncomfortable leaving our belongings. The other units did seem different than ours though so probably nicer ones in the community. Location was great.

This is our first time in Kauai and I would say that this property is the best place we have stayed so far in Hawaii. The unit is huge! It has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. And a big dining and lounging area. We had a nice time staying here. We cooked our food for most days as the kitchen provides all the things that you need for cooking. Foodland is just a few minutes away. The staff are also excellent.

Visit my oldest daughter on island and wanted to do something different than just hanging out at their hose. Was a great way to see the Northshore, hike a little on the Napali Coast (scored the $5 tickets and drove in with my daughter) w/o having to go home. Food trucks were awesome for our first night and breakfast our last morning. Staff so friendly and recognized my daughter who did the same thing earlier in the month with my husband.

Pool was supposed to open mid Feb after a necessary reno. When we arrived Mar 16 it was still closed, which was not communicated to us. There is another small pool but it’s freezing cold/no hot tub/no view. When we checked in daily about the status of the pool, staff were rude and shrugged it off. When we asked if we could use a sister property’s pool, we were told no. Because we had cool weather and 2 young kids, not having access to the pool and hot tub unfortunately had a huge impact on our trip. Beware. Rooms are super spacious but very tired and no soundproofing between floors. We loved Princeville but would choose somewhere else to stay next time.
