Loved the peaceful atmosphere and felt very comfortable, right at home.

Beautiful and spacious. On the golf course and ocean, with a lovely deck that looked over both. Great beds and pillows.

The property could use a thorough cleaning. It was not bad, but after a few days we started noticing areas that could use attention.

Loved it. Spacious suite room with great view of the ocean.

We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was spacious with a large deck facing the ocean. Evenings were spent on the deck watching the moonrise and soaking up the incredible sounds of the big surf. It felt like quintessential Hawaii.

We could hear upstairs neighbors a tiny bit but not bad compared to some places. Also checking in after hours required us to go to another location. Although the ocean is close it's not accessible.

It was all in all very relaxing, grounds were nice and clean, apartments are partially updated.

The property was absolutely beautiful. The location is quiet and very relaxed with magnificent views. The apartments are very spacious and partly redone. All in all, I would definitely go back again.

A couple of minor issues that I knew it advance. 1. There is no elevator nor is there anyone to help you up or down with your luggage especially if you are on the 3rd floor (not sure how the older people manage). 2. I knew in advance that there is no AC but by the 4th night the warmth and humidity were getting to me. They should at least install a unit in the bedroom. 3. The check in is complicated because they own 2 separate properties, one near the westin and one down the road, and regardless of which you book, they'll put you where they have space so if you book shearwood, you will find yourself not knowing where to check in until you read a sign on the door sending you a mile back (which is fine bec we had a car, but if we took a cab there we'd be stuck).

Property has unbelievable views and amenities especially for the price.

I fell in love with this property because of the views. Our unit was located in the back next to the cliff overlooking the ocean. The view of the ocean against the cliffs was just gorgeous and thoroughly enjoyed it. The sound of the waves and the cool breeze made the stay even better. This is one of the best properties that I have ever stayed in....and I have stayed at the Ritz and been to Bora Bora. This place is not luxurious but the view and location + the spacious comfortable unit with a full kitchen for this price in Kauai is unbelievable.

Check in took a bit longer...but probably because I really wanted a unit backing up to the ocean.

Priscilla, who checked us in, was unfriendly and aggressive even. Very weird. The fans need to be stronger if there is no AC. It got hot.

They should provide instructions for check-in because we didn’t know where to go and it turned out we needed to get back in the car to check in at a different location.
