    Towels dirty, no blankets on bed, ice machine broken, breakfast was very disappointing just yuck

    We were just looking for a cheap room for the night, to get away from our kids for our anniversary; our original plans had fallen through. They we're renovating, and my expectations were exceptionally low. I am not exaggerating when I say I was blown out of the water.... staff was super friendly upon arrival, and when we stepped in our room. First off, we were dying in the middle of a Florida heatwave, and the AC was only on 70 but but it was CRISPY CHILL and FRESH. Nice clean linens and a cool and SUPER comfy bed that you could literally melt into. Clean lvp floors (I took my shoes off. ) and a nice size tub with the curved shower curtain, plenty of towels that smelled fresh and not like harsh chemicals or burnt smelling. We slept so well we missed breakfast, but what was left looked delicious we did pick at what was left and still had a decent breakfast. And it's hot breakfast not just cereal and coffee. We only stayed one night, but during our stay we witnessed no pests, and we are very particular about checking because we've had to pay $11k for their removal because of first hand experience in the past. It was a very pleasant experience. 9.5 out of 10 and that's just because of the specific location, and it's not like they can move it. They do well to maintain the Wyndham image and experience. I enjoyed my stay, and hotel and staff apart from location, 10/10. Quality over value 50/10. Literally the cheapest hotel with a pool AND hot tub in Lake City! And way nicer inside than the economy motels along the interstate. Great job guys! Will be back.
