Flip Flop Flamingo is a charming 2-bedroom, 2-bath cottage centrally located in the heart of Galveston's East End Historic District. Built in 1907 and updated with all of today's modern luxuries. Experience the island breeze while enjoying your morning coffee or evening cocktail from the cozy balconies off both the front and back of the house. Fully fenced, dog friendly* and outdoor seating in front and back yards to accommodate all your family, including your furry family members. End your day relaxing in the private hot tub in the secluded courtyard.

The main floor has open concept common areas along with 2 bedrooms & 2 baths and can sleep up to 6 adults + 2 kiddos. Smart TVs in both bedrooms + living room.

• 2nd Bedroom: Queen bed
• Hallway bath: shower, toilet, sink

The open concept living/dining area provides a fantastic environment for family games, watching TV or just visiting with each other. Interior dining table with seating for 6, plus large table and chairs in private courtyard, give many options for mealtime. The living area boasts a large screen Smart TV and several couches and easy chairs for a relaxing visit with family or friends.

The modest kitchen has been equipped with all the comforts of home: blender, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, pots & pans, dishes & glassware and utensils. All you need to bring is food and drink.

The tranquil courtyard provides plenty of shade from the large umbrella along with seating, dining table and charcoal grill. The courtyard’s shining star is the private 5-person hot tub, located in a secluded spot to end your day on a relaxing note.

You can walk almost anywhere, but you don't have to. Jump on the bicycles we provide and be anywhere in Galveston in minutes.

The property is walking distance to Miller's Restaurant, the Seawall, ShyKatz Bakery, the Bryan Museum, Sonny's Place, and plenty of other dining and shopping.

Other amenities include a full-sized washer and dryer and 2 bicycles - located in the garage area for your convenience.

Nearby walkable/cyclable favorites of past guests: Seawall promenade and its free beach, Stewart Beach, or the Strand with plenty of dining, shopping and activity options. Flip Flop Flamingo is just a 10 minute car ride to the Galveston cruise port & piers.

Galveston has much to offer and explore and our home is right in the middle of all!

Check in any time after 4PM, check out no later than 11AM. Early check in/late check out with prior approval only.

Flip Flop Flamingo has street parking only on a first come first serve basis. NO parking in garage! Please be kind to our neighbors and do not block their driveways.

Security cameras on driveway and all exterior entrances.

NOTE: Upon booking this property, you agree to: all rules, sign a House Agreement, provide a copy of primary renter's driver license, provide a guest list of everyone's names and ages, within 48 hours of booking. You will also be required to pay a security deposit of $300 three days prior to arrival.

POLICIES
• Must be at least 25 years old to book and be staying at the property (NO booking for others)
• No events, parties or large gatherings including prom, bachelor/bachelorette, graduation, TEEN or chaperoned groups – if this is your intent, please look elsewhere
• No smoking inside or on decks/balconies. Please dispose of cigarette butts appropriately.
• Dog friendly with fee – prior approval, no puppies, max 2 dogs – please dispose of dog feces, hair
• Please keep dogs off furniture, including beds
• Requires one flight of stairs and may be difficult for guests with limited mobility
• Free street parking. No garage parking.
• Additional fees and taxes may apply
• Photo ID may be required upon check-in

Violation of any rules (above) or stated in our House Agreement may constitute loss of security hold.

Cancellation policy: Guest receives 100.00% of rent if cancellation occurs at least 60 days before arrival minus a $75 processing fee; Guest receives 50.00% of total rent agreed to if cancellation occurs between 30 days and 60 days before arrival minus a $75 processing fee. If only 50% of rent has been paid, only taxes and cleaning fees collected will be refunded. No refunds within 30 days of arrival.

Great property for being 117 YO, few mins away from all the must visit spots, along with sea wall, pleasure pier and about 30 mins from kemah broadwalk and Jamaica beach. My 3yr old dog enjoyed the stay, very cute spot. Hosts were very responsive and attentive to our needs. Best for the price! for a small family, 10/10 recommend
