Good for a place to stay in a pinch, but not some where I’d stay on purpose.

The manager was very gracious, kind, and friendly. It was clean and quiet, considering the area.

The property across was a very rundown, decrepit, albeit open old school motel. My husband says it looked like a crack house, but I think it looked more like a very low income/homeless area. That wouldn’t have been so bad—I don’t judge people based on their circumstances as long as they behave themselves, but the Microtel does NOT have its own entry off S 8th St. You HAVE to drive thru that parking lot to get to the Microtel. We were worried about the security of our car, and the staff asking us not to use the side/back entrances didn’t help. Otherwise, the normal complaints…pillows were too small length wise and poofy…water pressure left a lot to be desired, and the AC was adequate, but not great.

Hotel staff was kind, you could tell they try to keep it clean, and good options for breakfast.

The location; the surrounded business were not clean and manicured. Very hard to get into the correct driveway. It was farther away from U of A then expected. We also were the first room right beside the lobby so you can hear people getting breakfast. You can also hear the chairs make loud screeching sound when people pull them in and out from under the table. It's very loud.

I would highly recommend this motel if you want an affordable price and exceptional cleanliness.

The only bad part about this motel is that it is located right next door to another motel that's run down and kind of sketchy looking. In order to get into the Microtel Inn, you have to drive through the parking lot of the other motel.

Didn't sleep well peoples played music until 3 a.m

The neighbor around got motel very old. The room doesn't counter where the hair dryer to put my makeup. Peoples play loud music until 3 a.m. the building clean. Doesn't have king size bed.

It was a place to sleep.

Room we booked was not what we were given, had to pay extra to move to a new room with 2 beds. I left a brand new yoga mat in room which was not returned after we moved. Motel faced a very scary, dirty, run-down apartment complex. Can see why room was non-refundable.

There was what looked like a blood stain on the comforter. We had a do not disturb sign on the door and they still came in when we were gone, took one of our 2 towels! The location was terrible looked ghetto. Also I sent a message about doing something special for us because it was a special occasion for me and my Wife?, they sent a message that said we will do that for you.. and then did nothing!!

We were on second floor alot of banging from downstairs all night and morning breakfast was not much to choose from i reserved 2 rooms online paid for one friend paid for other but i was still charged for both rooms and have to wait 5 days for one charge to come off my account

There was a hot breakfast. There is an awesome Mexican restaurant in the adjacent parking lot.

The first room smelled like wet dogs and the air conditioner put so much moisture in the air that our hanging clothes were damp. The room wasnt cleaned prior to check in. There were clothes left in the bathroom and the shower still had the shampoo and conditioner bottles in there and it was filled with dirt and hair. The hotel is in a very sketchy neighborhood and the pictures online are very misleading. The elevator smelled like urine. Our second room was cleaned right before we moved over. The housekeeping barely cleaned. Sheets were stained, towels are stained, bathtub had hair in it, the mirror in the bathroom was not cleaned, our key card kept getting deactivated making us have to go downstairs. The alarm clock was broken (in both rooms). There are only two outlets in the room. When I brought this to the managers attention (especially the cleaning issues) he just shrugged it off.
